On second thoughts, it is quite likely that i have made a mistake and jumped the gun.
It is quite unlikely that wealthmaster have source code from Dustin.
My misunderstanding was when he mentioned "Paid EA".
Apologies for any alarm caused and to all concerned !

Cheers
I would think it would be easier for a programmer to work with the concept than to hack the code anyways. the rules are clear enough and his earlier posts seemed to indicate he was working with the rules.

but in my book, if the orginal owner of this: Dustin has not given consent for wealthmaster to distribute this, it constitutes as stealing when we download it.

If you have sold an EA to someone without giving him any permission to distribute it, then you find him distributing it for free in forums....how would you feel ?

That doesnt sit quite right with me, so will pass on this.
But if it is fine with you, please do not let my thoughts on this impose on you.

I will work on an alternative stand-alone over the weekend.

Cheers

O my GOD!!!!

I did not buy Dustin's EA and steal it.. I attended his webinars, studied spreadsheets posted here by various people, used trade recoveryV0.03 posted here, and also used PDF posted here for dashboard like Dustin's EA. And USED MY 2 weeks day in and OUT with my programmer to test this and make this EA that can take into account of spreads and swaps as well. Dustin's EA do not have this functionality. So technically this is my copyright.

I hired a programmer and paid to code this because no one in this forum was volunteering to program this EA, So I went ahead and paid my programmer so anyone can benefit and use my code to add extra functionality if needed.

If you guys still think this is stealing then I think what we are discussing and making other EAs regarding ALR will also we technically stealing..( because we did not get consent from Dustin.. LOL)

If you guys decide this is stealing I would be happy to remove that Post.. reply ASAP...

Hi Wealthmaster, thanks a lot for sharing the EA you paid for developing.

I don't consider it stealing at all, Dustin is making the information on how his EA works publicly available :)

thank you for sharing.

I do make my test tonight.

Can I fill XYZ = 0 ?
by the way , my broker doesnt allow me to take decimal lots such as 1.2 lots , 2.80 lots .....
so it only can have round numbers such as 1 ,2 ,3 ,4 , or 5 lots ....
is it okay with this EA ?

is it normal that after I put the EA run , the ea not directly give sell stop or buy stop orders?
I attached the picture of the 'ea texts' that show it give pending order on decimal lots , not round lot.

i'll report the test right away.

Sorry , is this the right forum , or maybe should be put on other forum to report the test ?
Yes you can use XYZ=0

Please test it on Demo which has decimal lots.. Majority of us has Decimal lots.. And please do your intensive checking before asking any questions..

Great work here,

and some great EA's to test, here's a thought because the actual lots increase on every turn of the ALR our net exposure increases on every turn with it.

What if we decrease the size of the ALR on every turn so we start with an ALR of 50 pips and when ALR is executed we decrease the ALR gap by 10,5 or whatever pips on every subsequent turn until it unwinds

Wouldn't this allow either less exposure or couldn't we also decrease the size of the lots to get to a small profit or breakeven.

Thinking out loud here.

There are a few options we can experiment with to reduce exposure. one would be to avoid increasing lot sizes as you mentioned, but this would mean a small loss instead of a small profit or breakeven. However, that may not be so bad if it allows us to increase the size of the initial trade while reducing risk. Another idea would be to close some of the earlier trades in profit as we open more turns. Testing these ideas will take some time, plus I will also be testing the existing EA's.

Feel free to pull up a spreadsheet and start doing some calculations to help out.
