Here is a 5 year test for the EURUSD. The maximum number of turns was 10

Last one for today--the GBPUSD. I had expected this one to be all over the place but it was fairly steady. Max number of turns was 7

Very nice back test. If I may, how many times did the ALR hit 10 turns on the EUR/USD?

My backtest didn't have the problem you have shown, so I am at a loss to understand what could have happened. I also ran the same time period using 40/120 inputs & got a valid result.

Can you please run the test again with same EA & identical settings to mine over the exact same time period so we can be sure we are looking at the same thing.

Weird--I ran it again and it worked fine. I have no idea what happened the first time

On the same note, I was wondering if opening a demo account would help with testing the system in real time. If we test for a month the EA on 1M TF we can compare results to the backtesting for the same period. Also the EURUSD has the lowest ATR ever, this market can be a real stress test for the EA. There are a few offering unlimited demo accounts, any suggestions?

Hi Fibotrend,

I already started testing the WM EA on a demo account. I open a buy and sell trade on the same pair at the same time to make sure one of the positions will be loss and trigger ALR.

Then open 2 chart windows for that pair and let the EA manage the buy trade on one chart and the sell trade on the other chart.

You can open unlimited demo account with many broker. I am using IC Markets.

Attached is the ALR version which has SL placement for safety and to avoid unnecessary slippage. Kindly test and let me know if there is any bug. Thanks
