Good to see your account is growing steadily. Pleased to hear you advising people on the 4hr TF as this has always been best for consistent growth, as lower TF have not been proven.
Check out my comment re 'sleeping giant' as this baby just waiting for next market move, and some far too impatient!!!
I see your account is running at about 7%, probably reflects the quiet market, although many wouldn't sneeze at 7% annual, not just a few weeks on autopilot!!!

I have not chosen brokers wisely and chose a broker with 2 week demos

. Which doesn't work too well with Sebgrid!! So nothing to show sorry apart from my $5k demo sitting at approx $28k.

I am looking forward to going live in the next few weeks with Sebgrid, and some others, which I will demonstrate via this forum soon.

Hi AGT:

I check with your MyFXbook, I find that it has many pairs close same day ( Today), I checked those pairs one by one with RSI setting 7 on H4 timeframe and trades should not be closed and losing money.

Sebgrid EA look for previous bar for action, Those pair should not be closed with RSI range 50 to 70 only, There are some problem either Demo broker Or Sebgrid coding.

I would think that Sebgrid code is written for build 509, When you compile with MT600+, They are not stable, I do have slightly unstable problem with posted code under build 600+.

I think that is notably adressed to Charles ! So @Charles: could you have a look at this ?
The best would be in these cases to have/use only the ex-version of the EA code NOT the mq4 ! The ex versions will work in any case - independently from the Empty4 built !

HI AGT,

Firstly many thanks for giving this EA a good wrap on your portfolio page as that is appreciated.

Secondly I am new to this build thing and MQL keeps putting out new builds, which seem to stuff up the compiling of EA's. Now as I am only able to post the ex4 file here, I think that maybe the set file may have been the issue from which others have had their issues, but very frustrating all the same. As I was hoping to supply the best I could but MQL is doing their best to stuff me around.
Maybe those who I have supplied the mq4 version to via PM have had compiler issues, or broker issues I am not sure as I have not had problems with my brokers.

Thanks for sharing your EA codes, I compile it with latest build 670, I backtested it, I find the same problem, It will work fine for few days, then, If broker data feeding is very fast, ( fast moving, High tick rate), it will start to open/close trades on same bar or next bar, resulting losing signal trades or mulitple trades.

There are some problem in order open/closing error handle, I am not coder and I do not know how to fix it, Anyone who know how to fix it, Please PM me.

This is compile code using MT build 432, it is little bit more stable and need testing.

The only thing I'm worried about are the possible bugs posted here by some traders, that's a very serious question, bcz we never could use a bot with any bugs in the code live ! Of course I mean only bugs with influence on the trading results ... but it seems the obeservations above with descriptions of bugs are quite important just for trading results ! It's impossible to use an EA with bugs even if it shows some (even a longer) time good results - a bugfree code of a bot is an/THE indispensable postulate for using them !! :youknow:

A trade on the daily for EURUSD with the supplied .set file just opened a moment ago without a stop loss. I suggest running MPTP on the same pair in another window with another magic number can check and add a failsafe SL for this event.

Thanks for your input, but sorry is not very helpful. The RSI system this EA uses is for 4HR TF and has been very successful. Sure, try other TF, but please don't muddle your findings up with this post as I am sure as anything that this strategy is secure on 4hr TF.

YES, I hear your concerns, but why would you be concerned about what others have issue with if your broker and EA have no issues?.
What concerns me is that there is some issue, but it could be a broker issue, it could be a compiler issue, or something regarding the set file the EA takes the info off.
I could list the brokers I am using but this would not be helpful as everyone has their 2 cents worth on that subject.
Maybe the code needs some more error reporting inputted, or maybe the code recompiled with an earlier build might fix the ODD errors.
I suggest trying different brokers for those having issues as I have not had such errors with my selected brokers and from that I struggle to understand where these errors fit in!!

Sorry, going to give up soon as some have problems and some don't.

Would you please test Empty4 432 compiled version?, I backtest it under Empty4 build 670, It seems that Empty4 build 670 improved to compatiable with pre-509, Most of my old EAs and old indicators are working now.

This EA is not bad compare to many old grid martingale EAs, However, Grid martingale EAs are high risk method, I have never seen very safe Grid martingale EAs, backtest good setting are curved fitting and fool you lose money, In forward live test, Most of them end up blow up, I think that It is very important to withdraw profit weekly.

Although They blow up accounts, I have seen some winner, They can triple their accounts before blow up, I saw couple old real money MYfxbook accounts, Someone was running some old grid martingale EA on 3 live accounts with 10 pips step on 10+ pairs, One account, he withdraws 200% profit before blown up, 2nd accounts, he withdraws 300% before blown up, 3nd accounts, He withdraws 1000% and still running and now in private mode.

Rightnow, I have seen one real money Empty4 free signal, They increase their account to 900% and withdraw 200% (Smart) allready, However, grid martingale EAs are very risky, Its DD had been less than 5% for 9 months, but suddenly, It went up to 43% which is very danger and near blow up.

My point here:
1). Problem is Empty4, It forced us to upgrade to version 600+ which is not compatiable with old code.
2). Grid martingale EAs are high risk.
3). In order to win, EA needs to run in muliple pairs and withdraw profit weekly.
