I may not be posting for a couple of days. My friend's son fell off a 5 story balcony and is in very serious condition. He is in a coma with a broken back and neck. I will be trying to help the family as best as I can.

Just catching up on the posts as I was away last couple of weeks. Great to hear Novah is doing well. Hope he makes a full recovery soon...

First off, Karl wanted to send a special "thank you" to everyone who has supported Noah and his family through this tough time. He is astonished at how many people cared from all over the world and all the gifts people have given. It is now a week plus 2 days since the accident. 2 days since leaving ICU and the news has come. All his organs, spinal cord, lungs, brain, etc. all seem to be in good health and are healing properly with no known damage at this time. All his broken bones except for one, his arm, will heal by setting and put into casts. They will need to operate on one arm and put pins in. The doctors told him that there was no more they could do for him since everything seemed to be fine and would now send him to the orthopedic section of the hospital to finish setting the bones. He remarked that it was such a miracle of all these things turning out for good that the hospital is letting the story be published in the local paper. Noah's recovery was so amazing it is good publicity. Karl wants to send his heartfelt thanks to all who have encouraged, prayed, and given in his family's time of need. Next stop, the Orthopedic section to set the bones and then to finish recovery. To everyone's amazement full recovery now looks possible. At least way beyond what was hoped even just a couple of days ago. -

I have a 7-year old and can't imagine how it would feel if he fell out of the window.
He seems to be able to try though.....

Thanks for the update with great news Bob. The hospital / medical treatment must be quite good there, I had wondered what the standard would be like. Hope progress continues to be amazing.

Yes, I got that notification from I B F X in my Mailbox (the one inside Empty4) yesterday.

The National Futures Association (NFA) mandates the use of first-in first out (FIFO) execution to provide more transparency to customers and a more accurate picture of the P/L on multiple positions. Under FIFO, when you have multiple positions in the same currency pair, the position that was opened first will be the first to be closed.

Therefore, effective August 3, 2014, we are changing how we meet the FIFO requirements. All opened trades in a particular currency pair or product will be shown closed in the order in which they were originally opened.

How to access your account statements:

Moving forward, your customer statements will be available through the Empty4 platform and client center. To access your statements in Empty4:
•Log in to Empty4 and click on the Account History tab
•Right-click inside the Account History window
•Select "Save as Report."


What you should do:

We encourage you to evaluate your account and Expert Advisors to ensure that your current strategies adhere to the FIFO rules:
•The oldest trade of a specific symbol must be closed before newer trades of the same symbol.
•Attempts to close a newer trade of the same symbol will be rejected with an error message.
•Applying a stop loss or take profit to any ticket will also apply the same stop loss or take profit to all other tickets.
