It has closed 10 trades now, However, I saw one wrong trade in USDTRY, it doesn't look good.
Let it run for few more day to see that it still have order open/closing bugs or original hitting profit line - then open new order trading logic bug

Thank you for your work re testing this EA. I think you might be expecting the perfect from a not perfect EA. Also, bear in mind that some currencies that I did not mention in previous posts are not coded for the EA, like some of the exotics. If you open the mq4 file I sent you, you would note which are accepted and which are not. Although you can add more in if necessary.
I created this EA with the help of a coder, from the bones of a not-perfect EA, which is all decompiled hence very difficult to follow which part is relevant to which etc, and from this you may expect some NOT SO PERFECT situations. Also, in may be worth a mention that this EA does have a bit of error code, but not a lot. Also, if you get server down time, trade stations closing and re-opening, and other events this EA may have issues, but nothing that can't be fixed via adding the EA to charts again etc. As I have stated in previous posts, I have traded with this EA live for many months, and yes there have been the odd problem, but I am happy to for-go the odd problem for 7-30% growth PER WEEK, aren't you??

From these not-so-perfect situations it would be necessary to remove the EA, and load it again, and yes sure you may lose a few pips, but hey, I don't hear any credit given to those 10 + trades that have closed in the last few days for nice profits.

Always glad to hear gratitude and thanks but criticism is hard to stomach, when there may be a bug (difficult to locate) which does not affect the OVERALL profitability of this EA.
Maybe you need to find someone who can code better than any of us mere triers, and then we might all have an EA which is perfect, and then there will be no complaints!!.

The biggest bug in not your EA, It is Empty4-600 platform, Metetrader should test their platform enough before they force us to upgrade to build 600+.

I am not coder but Empty4 code is very limited and simple, I look at your EA code, I find some trace that someone was trying to fix this close trade then open trade on same bar bug, I think that it is very easy to fix it, It just need about 6-7 lines of code, it will make this EA slightly better.

Since most broker (Aug/01) upgrade their system for MT670 and not supporting build pre-509 terminal anymore, I am not sure what will happen, If you are going to make anyother EA, I suggest that you can use Blessing 3.9X, It has almost everything plus more ( RSI smart grid step) except that it needs to add a option patch code for order closing base on RSI, It should not cost you very much money. Of course, If you feel that your EA is stable enough, you do not need to do it.

Thank you for your observations, and if you know someone who might be able to help put those lines of code in that would be much appreciated as I am not a coder either.
I have looked into the Blessing EA and am using 'the Chessboard' set up on $1000 start with much success, using GB's although am tempted to try others on his list. Also, the reason I like this EA I am promoting is that it does not open in traditional grid style which makes it far safer, and from that I will be sticking to this EA for me.

It is a shame that the Empty4 builds continue to cause so much annoyance for all, as pre 500 I think everything seemed very stable. Oh well, we will be forced to use mt5 before too long, have to learn how to read mt5 code and Empty4 will be a thing of the past just like mt3, but I was not around then so have no comment to share.

im going to start again with the non equity stop in the 1.5a version , higher starting amount too of £5k see what happens. i think its the equity stop that killed this account

edit: im confused, just double checked the original 7rsi.set settings I was using for the crashed account and it seems equity stop was set to false all along. so cannot understand why my account crashed.

well anyways will go ahead with v 1.5a OOTB (except with rsi changed to 7) and see what happens with a 5k account, lets see if thing can do what charles' demo account did

In my travels to help myself and others searching for a bug free version of Sebgrid, I have tried to compile a version through Empty4 build509. Obviously the compiler had no issues, no warnings etc, so here is hoping for a better attempt at trading with Sebgrid 1.5a for everyone here.
I am unsure if Ricky has already done this for us, but anyway here it is again as attached, and just use it as is (OOTB no set file needed) except some exotics have not been hard coded into EA, sorry not sure which apart from USDTRY, so those will need magic no. changed to any number above 50.

Enjoy, and I hope to hear back some more enjoyable news re no bugs and happier trading. Also, I will add a widget in here soon as this Sebgrid is competing in the myfxbook.com competition. Not winning but still results can be looked at I guess.

are the settings hardcoded into the EA, do we have to change the RSI to 7? as i noticed the previous OOTB hardcoded version had RSI set to 5, which was only recommended for a few select pairs

also does this update fix the issue of seeming equity stops triggering although equity stop is set to false

Answer re RSI 7, is that i made a mistake with the previous OOTB, and this time you should be ok with it, but like most people (human that is = makes mistakes!!) so check before adding to chart. Also, I only supplied the EA, I can't control the mistakes that others make, because as I have said before 'if you close and re-open trade station' this EA does not like that and may close or re-open prematurely if the chart does not update correctly or saved correctly by Empty4 program. This is because this EA is very simple and does not have much error code etc.

Also, most people me included, like to check how EA's work, so my advice is to add the RSI to the charts in question and check for yourself whether you like the 5 or the 7 setting of the RSI. I prefer using the 5 for the USD, and the 7 for most others, but like everything try for yourself if you have the inclination.

I hope this previous build solves your problems, but if not, I suggest trying a different broker, or don't use this EA, as I have the odd problem with closing and re-opening at extreme, and 'load ea again' trick fixes this. I, too, look forward to testing with the previous build and will swap over my demos to this 'recompiled' EA.

what i have done is set the RSI for USD pairs eurusd, gbpusd and usdjpy to 5, and left the others on 7 ootb
