Request: Heiken Ashi and Moving Average trail

Good morning,

Possible to add Heiken Ashi (HA) candle and Moving Average (MA) TP trail? If possible both also in mtf similar to the existing MPTM candlestick trail.

Both trails can be instantly triggered just like InstantTrailStop or triggers after few pips move or BE reached.

Please describe in more detail what exctly u looking for. attach an picture example also, and be precise as anyone who attempts to mod the code is going to put valuable time to it, doesn't matter if it's just a couple minutes for some coders here, but it's still someone's valuable time. Please respect that.

Don't know what's a mtf candlestick trail. Used MPTM and still do but never that feature. So I'll skip The mtf part for now.

Nicely done with the explanations, real good. Shows your commitment to your work and for others time as well. Please keep it up in the future as well.

So, you want to add the MA trail feature as you described and also the HA CS trail, also as described. Fine!
Give me a day, will you. I'm not actually an A grade coder, rather a C grade, one that can hack, edit, compile and run. Thus a day is what i need.

OK,

Have set Moving Average Trail Method. Compiled with no error but haven't check the EA on the run.
MA trail is in conjunction with BE.

Please run it to your settings and let me know if there are any errors, in logic or otherwise.

I'll do the HA trail after your feedback with the initial modification. The MA Trail was the easier of the two thus i did that first.

If EA runs correct on my coded logic, it'll be easier for me to attempt the HA trail. Thus i'll wait for your feedback on this first.

Please note that only one of the methods of non standard trailing should be set to true, i.e either Candle Trail is true or MA trail is true but both can't be true in a single instance of the EA.

Hi Max,

Preliminary results - no close upon touching 50sma of 4hr.

TrailStop set to True.
BE - on.
Partial Close - on

MA: 50SMA
TF: 240m

Set file attached.

Challenge 1:
I'm not sure about this, the MA trailstop is upon touching the MA or need to wait for a candle close? In above case, the price had touched the 50sma but didn't close, have to wait for 4hr candle close first?

Challenge 2:
When removing this MPTM from a chart, it took around 5 seconds. The original MPTM takes split seconds.

Will test further.

Possible to add Take Profit based on this MA settings? When the price let's say hit 50ma, it closes the position.

For the second, about unloading EA, sometimes while the EA button is on and the EA is removed, it takes couple second, like 5 or so and the platform freezes for that time, then it's back to normal. Check to see if that was the case.

Once challenge 1 is dealt with, the TP thing can be done easy.
