Just as a matter of interest ...........................

I don't set any great hopes from back tests but just want to give a little report of
how it worked out, I'm not going to fill the thread up with full reports because my results may
or may not ever happen ever again, NOBODY knows for sure
all my tests were done on EUR/USD H1 and all that I changed each time was HrdTP Value
15.0 , 20.0 , 25.0 , 30.0 , 40.0 , 45.0 . All Test were of the same time span starting on
Fri 1 Nov 2013 up to today Fri 15 Aug 2014

The main point to the tests is to check the function of the EA but it was interesting to note
on 4 of the tests the account was doubled from 10k to over 20k on or about the first 50 days
of trading but from that point on it went down hill a little, but even so they were still 2 to 3k
in profit at the end.

keep in mind this is without any intervention, if you were able to be at your computer and
see the trade was heading for a substantial loss you could intervene with whatever
steps you think appropriate, this would depend on your trading ability as to what action
you may or may not take.

with regard to my forward test, it is still on the go, I have not taken any manual steps to hedge the trade
as it is on a demo account and we just want to see how the EA works out on monday and beyond.

one thing I did do however was to move my SL up before the market close in order to protect my
Equity (Toy Money) as it is friday and we have no clue how the market will open on Monday morning.

as you can see from my posts the EA is under test but so far all looks fine and yes it is
following the rules, how close it follows the rules is up to the user and how you set the
EA to run, it's simple enough for you to find out just run some tests of your own

Acs, your answer is correct.
EA is basically to follow the rules of the original posts. But there are many parameters that can be adjusted. Such as: Lots size can be adjusted by setting the risk or stop, transaction time can be adjusted by setting the London market opened after which a candle, etc.
By setting, you can find the configuration suited to their platform, brokers, time.

Trading on Friday, in front of someone mentioned, I have also considered that there are 3 options to address:

1. Since it is a coin flip theory, trading or not trading on Friday , close or not to close the order on Fri., not a big deal, just let it close on Monday.

2. Do not open trading on Friday.

3. One hour before your broker platform closeed, close all profitable positions.

Everyone comment, which option is better.

Any helpful suggestions are welcome.

First I would like to thank yourself and Jess for your hard work in putting this EA together
you are both doing a great job

with regard to Friday trading, it has always been a personal choice for many traders, some will trade
Fridays and some will not, those who do trade Friday may wish to close all trades before end of day
The reasons for these choices are many and varied, for example Sunday/Monday open may have a
60 pip gap up or down, does it matter ?, it could work in your favour, if you have your SL and TP set
you have done what is required of you.
anyway the list goes on and on, we could devote pages and pages of reasons one way or the other,
most often it can be a judgement call on the day in respect of your position in the market and market sentiment.
For me it's not a problem, If I decide I don't want to trade the Friday I will turn EA off on Thursday check and set my TP/SL for THu/Fri trade and walk away BUT as you know there will be people who want the choice within the EA because they are going on Vacation that week and they want to leave EA on the go

So having said all that, to me it boils down to you

IF you have time and think it worth your efforts there will be those who would like all the options
within the EA, I'm sure we will all be grateful for whatever (options) you can put in.

I had not been thinking about Friday trading as it's not a issue for me, My thoughts
have been on filtering the trades to get a better balance of trades but as the Vacation period
is almost over the trades may get better without doing a thing so what can we do !, Flip another Coin

here are the results of the trade
closed in profit by the EA after 23 hours of trading and ready to take another trade

It did not reach it's Profit target but was closed as per the rules.
