The thingy with Bob is, every time he thinks about a new strategy, or an extension to an older one, he is bringing to the thought process over 7 years of continual experimentation and experience. That is why each successive system is such a huge improvement on the previous. Tommaso has coded the indi that gives traders all the information they need to trade the system. The indi is an epic bit of coding; I am awestruck.”

FXAW Entropy news for those of you still hesitating about joining. The signals generated by Craig's algorithm are exceptionally good. They are sent to a signals receiver that sits on the trading platform. A single 'slave' EA translates these signals into a form that the trade management EA's ('Tradebot') can recognise and work with.

We have seen baskets of trades going thousands of pips into profit. There is a problem with the tradebot's trailing stop feature that has seen trades fail to close at the right time and the trade move back into loss. The whole package is not yet ready for live account trading, but I am sure it will be soon.

I recommend that those of you still hesitating bite the bullet and join. There is a lot to consider when setting the tradebot loose, and you need to get a feel for how it works, and to calculate your own values for all the inputs.

Cowboy IBFX Aussie wankers blocked my live trading account again because I was running an 'old' version' of Empty4 – proving yet again that these bastards are in cahoots with the cowboys at Crapperquotes to separate all of us from our cash. Ok, so I do not really care because this is my tiny play-money account, but I would be cross if I had deposited $50,000 with them. Not that I would be that stupid. Nor should anyone else. Never deposit live cash with these cowboys. That is Cowboy IBFX Aussie, guys.

OAM adherents, keep an eye open for the upcoming update. Lifesys sent me a version with the old screen display replaced by text labels over which users have considerable control. You have your own choice of font size and colour; the whole thing is sooooo much more readable.

Coders, keep an eye out for me uploading my latest shells to http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... ?f=15&t=79. I have added lifesys's display code to a couple of these (I will specify in post 1 when I upload). You will easily be able to replace existing display code if you have used my shells to create your own EA's, or adapt it to your own use otherwise.

FXAW Entropy news for those of you still hesitating about joining. The signals generated by Craig's algorithm are exceptionally good. They are sent to a signals receiver that sits on the trading platform. A single 'slave' EA translates these signals into a form that the trade management EA's ('Tradebot') can recognise and work with.

We have seen baskets of trades going thousands of pips into profit. There is a problem with the tradebot's trailing stop feature that has seen trades fail to close at the right time and the trade move back into loss. The whole package is not yet ready for live account trading, but I am sure it will be soon.

I recommend that those of you still hesitating bite the bullet and join. There is a lot to consider when setting the tradebot loose, and you need to get a feel for how it works, and to calculate your own values for all the inputs.

Ok, so I do not really care because this is my tiny play-money account, but I would be cross if I had deposited $50,000 with them. Not that I would be that stupid. Nor should anyone else. Never deposit live cash with these cowboys. That is Cowboy IBFX Aussie, guys.

Those of you unfamiliar with United Kingdom politics, take heed of what you are about to read. The UK consists of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Scotland is holding a referendum on leaving the UK and becoming an independent country in its own right. All politicians are on record as being prepared to accept the result of the referendum.

A 'yes' vote will cause the break up of the UK and would be an event whose ramifications are unfathomable to mere mortals. Even the prospect is causing vast movements in the markets as the big players wet themselves over the uncertainty. Trade the GBP with the greatest possible care. Especially, buying it is nothing that I would recommend. Whatever your system tells you, beware of buying the GBP.

That warning aside, make a killing guys. There is nothing better for us retail forex grunts that a decent bit of volatility inspired by the fear of the wetter 'market makers'.

Cowboy IBFX Aussie wankers blocked my live trading account again because I was running an 'old' version' of Empty4 – proving yet again that these bastards are in cahoots with the cowboys at Crapperquotes to separate all of us from our cash. Ok, so I do not really care because this is my tiny play-money account, but I would be cross if I had deposited $50,000 with them. Not that I would be that stupid. Nor should anyone else. Never deposit live cash with these cowboys. That is Cowboy IBFX Aussie, guys.

Nothing new this week. Just make sure you have visited the Fractalated Bob thread listed a few lines down. I have made nearly 700 pips trading live these last two weeks. Others have made many, many more on demo.

I shall be releasing a new version of Multi-purpose trading manager soon, with a daily trade closure option. For the coders, I am pulling together some of the strands to make the code more easily reusable and modifyable. I plan release some time this week.
