I have added trade stacking - details in the post 1 inputs section. Use this only on demo for now, until we know the code is watertight. Coders wanting to check my code, please sing out if you spot anything wrong:

• line 74: FirstTradePrice saves the OrderOpenPrice() of a successful market trade for use in calculating the same take profit for all the stack trades. It is set in SendSingleTrade().
• line 1240 calls SendStackTrades(string symbol, int type).
• line 1255 starts bool SendStackTrades(string symbol, int type) which attempts to send the pendings.

I have added Bob's H4 240 Moving Average trend detection routine. It was interesting to drag this onto my demo and compare the trend direction with the currently losing trades on my live Cowboy IBFX account. All but one of the 'loosers' was taken against the overall trend - this suggests that this will be a powerful filter.

I have two demos running and I'll post the results so far tomorrow, but just wondering about the possibility of the take profit value being reduced down to break even the closer you get to the close date....So, if you stay with 33% day one on the 15th day, then it could be like 27% day 16 and 21% day 17 and so on...obviously, if you start with a higher take profit % then it would be different....maybe just divide the take profit % by the number of days and reduce each day by this value....

Just a though...I'm happy if you tell me to blow it out my backside...!

It could do. I am going to test the latest version on demo multiple times before my next live trading day, so we should get an idea of how valuable the filter is.

Just so you guys know, I just loaded up OAM onto a chart to take the trades on day 17 (tomorrow here in the UK) at 8.00 am London time.

I had to load the bot up twice to make the screen display most of the Moving Average values. No idea why. Just make sure your chart feedback is correct before you leave the bot to its own devices - we are demanding a hell of a lot of what is basically a crap platform designed to do nothing but take the occasional individual trade.

I finally 'lost it' a while ago after the most frustrating day I have spent wasting my time on irrelevant coding for a long, long time. The JPY pairs appear to break the PFactor function. On the rare occasions that the pending prices are correct, the take profit is wrong - both by a magnitude of 100. Coders can see the thrashing around I have gone through to try to fix this in the attached version.

I am doing no more with sodding stacking. Anyone who wants it can code it themselves.

Trade Update: My "basket trades" opened 8:00 AM GMT today (Day 18).

I have closed the remaining trades on my live Cowboy IBFX account. They were all taken against the prevailing trend, and closing them during a brief retrace allowed me to keep 91 of the pips I made since opening the basket. Not a huge number of pips, but this is August and a lot of people do not trade at all.

I opened a basket on demo with the latest version with Bob's moving average filter. It moved into profit fairly quickly and I closed it later in the day at +180. I will open two tomorrow and leave the second one to run to see what happens.

It has been a good few days for Bob's H4 240 moving average trend filter.
