What kind of account is that Bob? Though you say your own broker, I assume that you are not taking about obtaining a broker's license. In Belize a broker's license would cost around $125,000 to set up. New Zealand is around $15,000 to set one up.nanningbob » Fri Aug 08, 2014 3:44 am wrote:astral77 » Fri Aug 08, 2014 7:14 pm wrote:Hi
Again I want to see if I can get my own personal Belize account then I am my own broker. I can then write Forex Peace Army every time I dont like what my broker does. LOL

Some trader posted a website that gave the volatility of each currency pair. You could set it for 30 or 60 or yearly and see what the average volatility was for that pair. If anyone still has that and can post it I would appreciate it. I think it was posted in the 10.4 thread someplace but I have no idea where.

Hi Bob,
From your experience, can you please tell me more detail about when you do multiple trades, in what event or news or indicators that make you decide to open multiple trades?
Sorry, my english is not good.
Thanks before and after Bob.
Cheers.

Well I havent done many positive multiple trades this year because the market has been so rangy until this month. Then I missed them. I have been trying to trade off the top and bottom of the TMA because the market has been so rangy and if it bursts against me I have been taken 2nd level trades.Lydia » Mon Aug 25, 2014 11:05 am wrote:Hi Bob,

The other thing I will do is stay with what I believe is a long term trend so I havent been closing my most of my losing NZD trades. I probably will close out the nzd/usd one but the eur/nzd I am still in because I expect the euro to continue down and the NZD to go up.
So there are no hard fast rules other than you dont want to get caught with multiple trades on a trend reversal. As long as i am in the long term trend I will hang with a trade. So monthly charts are the tool I use to follow long term trends. Here is a pic of the monthly charts of eur/usd so you can see what I mean.
I have done almost no euro buys this year and only concentrated on selling it. When I have bought a euro buy I have gotten my head on a platter. So for now and probably the rest of the year I will be doing euro sells. The big event that could make the euro reverse to a buy for a short term is if Russia and Ukraine quit fighting and long term solution comes into play.

Cheers

It is paying out the highest interest rate and its base fundamentals have not changed. The only currency I see it running weaker for the long term is the USD. JPY doesnt want it to get any stronger and will take some kind of action this fall. Euro economy is still in sell mode and probably stay that way for a while. CHF goes with it and it will drag the GBP though kicking and screaming along down but not as much. Unless the world goes haywire, and that is a possibility, the commodity currencies should hold or even strengthen but I will go with them holding for now.
The two news stories that affected the NZD were the wholesale price of milk but I am sorry that is not a long term affect. The greater affect is the stronger currencies USD, EUR, CHF, JPY, GBP fundamentals will over ride any commodity currencies fundamentals and except for the USD I dont see any of those other 4 going up with any real strength. Unless someone pulls a rabbit out of a hat. So NZD should stay up in its range for the year as people look for place just to park money and collect interest.
