Err - in a word - no.

Not much point in having enhanced versions if you don't use them*? I am using the latest from Post 1.

If the results carry on then I will post set files. The reality is this EA will only be tested fully when there is a big across the board trend swing. That may take some time. Anyone using this live before it is stressed would be a little

(mad/crazy) imo.

V 1c is in post 1. It is merely Mike's version from a few posts back, with his inputs moved into a 'Trade management module' inputs section along with breakeven etc. You do not need 1c if you already downloaded Mike's update. I describe the purpose of the inputs in post 1 for those who missed his post.

Thanks Steve. I'll apply this to my JPY7 demo and see if it could help recover the hit from last week because of the the EJ playing around the SMA

Yep. I think it was GJ playing around the moving average on my demo (only trading the majors and GJ) at the start of the week caused a bit of pain. As soon as I took advantage of MinDistanceToMaPips this pain stopped and I ended the week having made a shed load of profit.

That wonderful gap in GJ tonight took the remaining trades from last week nicely into profit so I closed them all. So far, the demo account is up 25%. There has to be something wrong.

I was left with 10 open trades last Friday for GBPAUD. I thought that something was wrong with the EA but I looked again in my settings and found that I accidentally left it to trade on the 15 min chart instead of the H4 TF. It opened 10 trades every 15 mins.

Those 10 trades closed today at market open adding 55% to the equity.

What a beautiful mistake.

Part of me says, what a shame this was not a live trading account. Or was it? I assume not.

The other part of me says: yeah, right. We all know what would have happened if it were a live account.

The fix for this is to replace as follows, in the GetFractals function.

e.g.

from:
iFractals(NULL,0,......

to:
iFractals(symbol,tf,......

Had a similar experience at market open, my TradingTimeFrame is 15 but left my USDCHF chart on H4, which had a valid HH/HL, so it ended up opening 10 trades (1 every 15mins).

I just change the trading time frame option in the EA. Easier and no need to fiddle with the code.

This is a demo acct. Hoping to put it on live soon.
