Hi Cherry,

I just don't like trading CHF (except AUDCHF), also I don't usually trade eurgbp either, but for some reason I missed taking it off this demo.

This is a re-entry after a trade I closed last week for 400 pips...market has taken a breather and is now resuming back into the direction of the trend.
Trade entry:
1. Down trend confirmed on weekly
2. 2 candles reversed up, followed by 2 completed candles back into the direction of the trend
3. All dots line up as a sell on the Multi MA
4. 3SMMA is below the 8SMMA
5. Trigger candle has closed below the 3SMMA

I want to make sure I am understanding this correctly

Current balance: $5663.80
Floating balance: $5958.98 (approx +530 pips)

means the balance of the acct. is 5663.80 and equity (that is if you closed everything right then and went flat) is 5958.98 the difference is the 530 pips you are up . I know this sounds stupid but if that is the case maybe a exit could be when the whole acct. equity (floating balance) hits say 10% everything closes then we start again. I don't know just a thought. 10% a month is huge especially if one lets it compound for a while before they withdraw any.

Yes, your understanding is correct, if I was to close all trades out the account balance would be $5663.80...in fact your suggestion is a good idea, if we close the account balance every time it hits 10% that would be huge!

I have been giving some thought to when I should close out especially in regards to trades that have gone into range mode and we're accumulating negative swap, we could get out and wait for the market to start moving again and then re-enter and it could also help clear the decks of the trades that are going the wrong way!

Hmmm...the more I think about it, the more I like it! I think I will add mptm to my account tonight with a global closure of 10%.

Here are my results right now, so now up 865 pips, floating balance $6140.83

I have set up mptm to close all trades at +10% and whilst I was at it, I also set up the move to break even +5 at 100 pips.

Let's see what impact this will have on the results.
