I tried the “hidden pending” EA, which seems to me closer to my requirements
as the “all pair trade manager”, especially concerning the stacking feature (pyramiding).
As longer as I work with, I did taken into account, that both trade managers contains below requested features respectively modules, but distributed in each of them.
It seems to me, that both EA´s maybe could merge closer.
Anyway I`m afraid, that some traders would complain, that the EA-improvements will blow up to much and it should remain simple and easy to manage (kiss principle).
I suggest to use true/false switches and to save the settings for the different markets. If a new version should be available, I´d like to suggest in advance, not to delete or substitute the previous one, until a new version will run proper.
Actuall problem:
After definition of the distances for buy and sell, I adapted afterwards manually the price in the setting “price buy” (USDJPY, previous buy-stop-pending = 107.34 adapted to 107. 44). Simultaneously I switched the sell-stop-pending to false. But the new buy-stop-pending-price did not move in the position as expected.
Maybe there are internal relationships in the settings, I didn´t yet consider.
“Milanese” has been ask for additional functions and improvements.
1. I`d like to suggest, that it should not mandatory to use hidden pendings.
Easy spoken, a switch for both conditions by true/false, can solve this request.
2. The actual version of the EA use the current price to place above and below pending orders by an defined pip-distance, which are still equal for buy and sell pendings.
Not only in the way a hedge order is used, instead of a SL, the distances of the buy- and sell-pending should provide different distances definitions/settings.
E.g. a setting by “Pip-distance for buy trade” and a different “Pip-distance for sell trade”, which is common called the “Risk-Reward” (RR).
Actually the RR = 1:1. It would make sense to use different distances for the pendings, especially, if we trade with focus one direction with a RR of 1:2 or higher, sometimes even vice versa.
Therefore from my point of view the RR- settings should be entered manually, although some traders wants the RR- feature to be calculated automatically.
Further on, in addition buy- and sell- pendings should have their settings for different resp. variable lotsize.
3. A more advanced feature might be, if we are generally focused to trade one direction, to move the appropriate opposite pending according to the actual price movement resp. direction,
similar like a trailing stop.
If price will e.g. move long, the so called “hedging sell stop” or even a buy-limit pending should move according to the price-movement by the defined pip-distance.
4. Further on I´d like to ask, if it possible to run the EA also immediately/adhoc as an initial order, if no order is already entered in the appropriate market?
The feature we probably would need in addition, might be a graphical symbol/button in the chart to start resp. to trigger an initial order by placing in addition the pendings in the chart, defined in the settings.
I don´t have a better idea for that kind of functionality, due to the Empty4-crap.
5. Anyway, if orders are already in the market performs, especially after a new order has to be already entered, I´d suggest to use a similar function already realized by the “all pair trade manager”, to attach and interconnect the EA on any existing ticket number in the appropriate pair/chart.
It might be an alternative, if a button-feature provided in the chart, would cause to much coding effort.
I hope, that the suggestions will match also other trader’s todo schedule.
Today it did make fun, to see the EA harvesting (by live control) the EUR/USD, short (70 pips) and afterwards long (35 pips), although some features are still missing.
Trade well my friends
