1 trade taken this morning:
AUDNZD Sell
New sell signal on weekly
3SMMA is below 8 SMMA
Trigger candle closed below 3SMMA
Multi MA indicator dots all line up red

I don't want to get too excited as not all weeks move as strongly as last week... but I'm very happy with the result I got on my demo. I didn't enter at open of the candle but put in a limit order for a pullback to around the 3 ma on daily. Some I got in nicely like AUDUSD almost right on the top of the pullback, but I missed an entry with a couple like AUDCAD as it didn't pull back much at all.
This is the graph from a demo I use for testing strategies. You can see the big move from last week's 6.39% move up!

My other demo I used for 30min entries but as I didn't have much time it didn't do near as well. However the AUDCAD trade I took with a 30m entry on the 10th I finally closed on Friday evening 19th. I would love to get a few runs like that from time to time! I did scale out but left the last lots to run for 256 pips.

This weekly / daily method will work well when the markets give some strong trending weeks, but I can see it may be very slow when we get into a range and then the smaller time frames would be best.. if we had time to trade them.

Looking good Shelley, my EA's working off closed candles only so hasn't taken this one yet.
EA demo results for the 1st and only week 21pairs GP > 1315 pips banked with +515 folating, jumping stop & breakeven weren't quite working to the rules until Friday so those are only rough results, very early days yet but so far so good

Ignore the % growth because I put in the wrong lot size or if you want to look at that in a good way it survived a very volatile week with stupid stupid lots. 16 Trades running at the mo because the EA blindly follows the rules, but if I was trading it live I wouldn't have taken a good few of those, I would have taken the lossers and missed the winners

And excellent stuff

If you've read Shelleys rules in post 1 there's not much to say, I think the only difference is I set it to only work on closed candles so as not to get any false/early signals, this might leave some pips on the table but could also save some only time will tell.
I was most familiar with the Fractalated Bob code so butchered that to get it working and when I say butchered I'm not being modest, as a coder I've gone from completely useless to where I am now at mostly useless.
Happy to share it here unless Steve delete's it for what I've done to his code.

Awesome results zader...1315 pips banked in 1 week

Not sure about your comments about only working off closed candles...that's how I trade myself. Once a day at the open of trading, the previous closed candle is what I use as the 'trigger' candle. If I have lead you or anyone else to think I trade differently I apologise.

I think there is some confusion here zader...I will check post 1 in case I have not been clear enough

Again...exactly how I trade, wait for the candle to close before a trading decision is made.
Once a week I check the weekly charts on Monday morning open of trading to see the direction for the week, then trade each morning if the set up is there.
