So far so good....It looks like the HigherTF= is working... :)

Now we need to come up with away to add additional positions. This might be a tricky part so let's see if I can break it down.

1: If I am running the EA on a 15 minute TF and HigherTF= is set for 240 I would like to add an additional trade if on the 1 minute chart HA Line turns RED by x amount of BARS...

Now this might sound confusing so lets look at this carefully with what we have. We are now looking at three different TF's.

The 15 minute TF where the EA is.
The 240 minute TF HA Line for bigger trend that we follow.
The 1 minute TF HA Line where we look to ADD more positions on the 15 minute chart.

How does this work? Let's say we have the EA on the 15 minute chart with the following settings:
DelayTheEntryForXBars=3
PriceWithinHALine=15
HigherTF=240

Price action goes UP and the HA Line turns BLUE. After 3 BARS with Price within 15 pips of HA Line the EA opens first position. This is what is working now.

After the new position opens up the EA should monitor the 1 minute chart HA Line which would normally be BLUE because 15 minute HA Line just turned BLUE three bars ago.

When the 1 minute HA Line turns RED a BUY position should open up on the 15 minute chart. This is inverse to what the 15 minute EA first BUY does.

So for the second BUY to occur the 1 minute HA Line has to turn RED....

I hope I am not confusing things here.... Let me know if I am....

If you can get this working with the 1 minute chart then after we should look at adding a variable of how many bars to wait once HA Line turns RED before opening the BUY position....

I am trying to keep a common theme of using the HA Line for everything as the strategy I use is using HA Line pretty much for everything.

Thanks....
I think I understand what you mean, you trade this system manual? Because for me it is somewhat a strange strategy that you are describing. I am not sure if it shows really better results as using 2 TF for trading and too, for stacking if it is desired. Sure it is not as complicated to implant this, but I am not sure if we really need the 1M tf or if this would increase results.. in my experience often the simpel way works better as complicated ones..just my opinion

Cheers :)

Hmmm.... If you can implement this for the moment it will be a help. You could be right just I want to compare it with my manual trading style.... :)

ok here you go, we have new inputs they are:

DelayTheLTEntryForXBars Delays the additional entry x bars after the main entry
LowerTFis the additional entry TF OOTB it is M1 you can experiment, will entry after
DelayTheLTEntryForXBars x bars in Lower TF are against the main trend

Cheers :)

As we have now too StackTrades I added a special modul for BE and moving SL management for StackTrades, too there is the possibility to determinine the lotsize of stacktrades..

Cheers :)

Good morning,

I am trying out the EA where I have the EA on the 30 minute chart, higher TF looking at 240(4 hour) and watching the 1 minute chart. 30 minute is HA Line BLUE as well as the 240 TF... I see on the 1 minute chart price went below HA Line so it turned RED. The BUY order on the 30 minute chart did not happen.

There should be two ways to buy with this setup....

On the 30 minute TF if HA Line had turn from RED to BLUE a BUY position would have open because the 240 TF was BLUE. This is the main buy signal...

The second way is when I activated the EA on the 30 minute TF it is already BLUE as well as 240 TF is BLUE as an example. If 1 minute TF HALine turns BLUE to RED after x BARS has passed it should open a BUY position. It must not open a further BUY position unless HA Line turns BLUE and then RED again like the previous time...

Does that makes sense? I like the stacking option you put in there....

I understand, but this is a little tricky, I think this has the big risk to open at start a really bad position, ... I think in the way it adds now and it is configurable it looks really interesting..

Ok....I agree... It is just when I see a trend that already has developed it would be nice to throw in the EA on a 30 minute chart to take advantage of when Price retraces just enough to cause the 1 minute chart to HA Line to go from BLUE to RED to put in a BUY order...

But I am not a coder so if it is tricky then no problem. We will keep this setup.... :)

Thanks....

there was a bug in the stack moving SL code (used points and not pips), so here is the fixed version

Hi Tommaso,

I have been running the EA all day to see what happens and I noticed that it seems not to be picking up additional buy/sell positions. Take a look at the two charts below and let me know if I misunderstood.
prob5minutechart.png
As you can see here the EA which is running on the 5 minute chart open the first BUY position
prob1minutechart.png
And here when Price goes below the HA Line and turns RED after 2 bars it should open a BUY position....

Or am I wrong?

Thanks.....
