EA request Heiken Ashi

Hi I was wondering if there was a way some member could program an EA that would open and close a position based on price action crossing the Heiken Ashi line and/or within xx pips of the line. Below I give an example:

Now the EA would also be configurable by how many bars once price has cross the line before it places and/or closes a position. i.e. once price crosses wait two bars to close before placing an order.

Another configurable option should be how close to the HA line should price action be before buying/selling a position. i.e. when price closes within 15 pips buy if HA is bullish/ sell if bearish.

The EA should be usable on any time-frame as well.

I have attached a HA indicator to use if someone can do this. I wish I had programming skills but alas not yet...

Thanks Tommaso, I really appreciate it... Once I have it I will see how it will work out with my trading style using Heiken Ashi on various time-frames. If it looks like a winner I will put together a trading strategy for others to try out as well...

this is a first PreVersion it trades HA crosses with PipsInHA you can define how many pips after a cross you want to entry the trade, for the rest please PM me, try this one for looking if it serves as base.., CSS is integrated (if you want to experiment with this it is OOTB off) too the HA indicator is in EA so no need for external indicators

Yes if we have a good running basic EA sure this would be an interesting idea

Wow... thanks for the quick response... I just woke so I will get some coffee and give it a test run today.

Now to the strategy part: I trade like this manually profitable but of course there is a lot of decisions I do make to determine when and where I will trade using risk management etc... But a good way to get the picture is to know where you are with price action in relationship to the HA line on the longer time-frames and enter using the shorter time-frames.

For example, I know how price action reacts with HA just from experience within different currency pairs. In a strong bull/bear run the 5 minute HA line is a good Add Positions and Take Profit. I also know if Price Action is above the 4 hour HA line we are in a bull run on swing trades. If Price is above the daily HA line this means we are in a long-term fundamental bull run. And so on...

Now as I am a price action trader, I do not like lots of indicators as they reflect the market in past times which is why I like to put positions on the table via price levels and/or proximity....

Since I need to be on the right side of the 4 hour HA line is it possible to have the EA first determine that price action is above the 4 hour HA line for bull positions to be open on the lower time-frames or below the 4 hour HA line for bear positions?

Example:
Price is ABOVE Daily HA line
Price is ABOVE 4 hour HA line - Check
Price CROSSES 15 minute HA line - Wait 2 bars to close and if Price is ABOVE HA line THEN open BUY position

I have other examples but I want to see if the above example can be done..

What I am looking for is a way to configure when Price has crossed the HA line wait for 1,2,3,4,5 etc... bars to close AND IF price is still above the HA line AFTER the CROSS to open a BUY position. / when Price has crossed the HA line wait for 1,2,3,4,5 etc... bars to close AND IF price is still below the HA line AFTER the CROSS to open a SELL position.

The other scenario is price is in a bull run. When price comes back close to the HA line within xx pips I want to open a NEW position in the direction of the bull run.

Now the idea to close positions can be many but if I am using the HA line I would want to close it by how many pips price CROSSES over the HA line or by once it CROSSES over how many bars must close AND Price must still be below the HA line once those bars close. For example, if price goes below the HA line I want to wait 2 bars to close and if I see Price is still below the HA line I would then close my position.
