What I would like is for the SL to adjust automatically behind the HA line on a timeframe that I want. For example I am running the EA on the 30 minute timeframe and when it opens a position I want the SL to be set x amount of pips behind x minute HA line. So in this case I would want the SL to be set behind the 5 minute HA line by 10 pips. So after every 5 minute bar the EA would adjust the SL by 10 pips behind the latest HA line bar.

Now I thought HigherTfHASLMovingDistance=30 would do this but I dont see it plus there should be a variable for what timeframe HA to use as well....

Can this be done?

Hi TD,

the MinTPProfitInUSD is so far only used if you too use CSS for the entry, as it will close a position with more profit as MinTPProfitInUSD if the CSS goes against the open trade(s).
The HigherTfHASLMovingDistance moves the SL depending from the higher tf you have choosen, with the distance you have set.
About your request, I will take a look how we can realize it.

Ok here comes a new version:

MovingSL_TF here you set the HA TF for the moving SL
HA_SLMovingDistance here you sent the distance from the HA for moving the SL
SetBEminPip is min distance from SL to actual price (with "ST" at end for the StackTrades)

Now as there are a lot of settings both legacy and what we have put together I just want to go through them to make sure that there are no strange conflicts... I will take it group by group of settings to go through.

This works only for HA, Stochcrosses aren't delayed

only the second one will be used if you set bot true it has same effect as only second true

No conflict as EA uses it as initial SL, and will only move the SL if Profit is > SetBEminPip

you must set it 1 if you want the EA moving the SL in Profit

I just want to make sure that we are on the same page so I have a picture below that by using the above two variables HA_SLMovingDistance and MovingSL_TF we will have a moving SL that is recalculated after every bar close and is set accordingly. So in the below example for each bar the SL is 10 pips behind the HA and when the bar closes HA line has moved down a few pips so the SL moves a few pips as well maintaining the 10 pip distance from the HA line.

Is this correct? Sorry to ask but I just want to make sure that I am expressing myself correctly... :)

If the position is in profit and profit is > SetBEminPip it will move the SL.
So it is in the moment coded..
