Hi Tommaso

Many thanks for the indi. If I attach the indi to a lower TF will it still show the Daily or does it have to be on 4hr? I ask only as I have attached it to a number of 30m charts and each one shows D1 HGI with the double arrow - off course it may just be that there is no DI signal. Its just to check that I have not done something wrong. Thanks

it shows always the D1... , as it shows only the actual D1 signal it can be often happen that there will be no signal shwon..

Tommaso one more thing.

Wavy lines can be above or below a candle. So it is important for the NewMarketInfo to display if the Wavy line of D1 is above or below the candle because it means a different thing when it is above and different when it is below.

Is this possible to add?

I have been trading for a long time and do not like to change things too much (if it aint brokte etc) so I was late coming to the Matrix. More fool me as its brilliant. I know you have all heard this many times before but to all who created HGI and the Matrix many many thanks.

Hi Milanese,

First thanks fore the incredible work here.

I found that on a fresh MN chart 15.06 painted a BLUE wave on the current bar (e.g. AUDJPY and EURJPY). The matrix shows also flashing BLUE waves ... which makes sense as the Matrix is based on 15.06.

When applying the new 16.04 to the same chart, 16.04 paints a YELLOW WAVE on top of the BLUE wave.
I assume this is due to the new calculation method. I think this difference only shows with the Monthly charts as I (and most people) will have <120 Monthly bars and the new 16.04 HGI uses a better calculation for insufficient bars?
To make sure I thought I would better ask.

If I am correct it would be better to ignore the MN wave signal based on 15.06 and focus on the weekly.

Then also a suggestion:
Although I read the whole thread I got confused with which HGI to use for Hurst. Post 1 still refers to 15.08 as the Hurst HGI. I understand that 16.04 is now the one to use... also for Hurst?

I know about the matrix. I just wanted to have everything on the same chart and not go back and forth in different charts.

But i understand you that you don't have time to do all this. After all its free. :)

But anyway if you decide to add it some time let me know.

for charts with less than 550 bars what is often with Period MN1 the case, you should use the 16.04 and discard results with former versions as they can not correct handle charts with less than 500 bars.
Too for using the hurst filter 16.04 is the best choice, the first post gives you a little overview about the history, that is why the explainings for older versions are not deleted.

here is my mod of ForceLoadHistroricalData which checks that each timeframe has 550 bars for HGI to work properly. you will have to manually go through the charts that failed and hit the HOME key to load more history. look in the experts tab.
