I tested this one (OOTB) on my VPS and on my desktop, maybe I am doing something totally wrong, but I keep getting the same thing. [ I install the demo, insert the Pip Dash indicator in the indy folder, and the script in the script folder. restart the demo, run the script, make sure it passed without any failure. attach the Pip Dash and mark off allow DLL Imports and let it run... ] This time I even tried with an Axitrader Empty4 as well, but all the same...

Many thanks gringoh, and here is my experience with the new version: I applied it with default settings, and the platform still hung. Task Manager showed CPU usage on that platform at 60-70%, while other Empty4's on that computer are chugging along at 1 to 4%.

So I did a fresh install, reduced bars to 1,000, changed ThePairs to EURUSD only, changed Read the indi once a second from 1 to 5, and it worked! Added 3 more pairs, and that worked. Added 10 more pairs, and it hung.

Removed the indi from the user files, re-started the platform, re-applied the indi, 4 pairs in ThePairs, Read the indi once a second set to 5,and it worked! Added 4 more pairs, and it hung.

So yes, my computer is not up to the task, and I think I'm off to increase my RAM from 4GB to its limit of 8GB, unless you would suggest something else?
Yes, you will need a 'meaty' computer if you run multiple MT4s. The program is not know as Crap for nothing.

Try and reduce all load as much as possible across the whole machine. Remove everything not stictly needed from all the MT4s.

If you manage to put the bloated MT4s on a diet it will help considerably. Also I run a batch script each time an Empty4 restarts that deletes the log/history files etc.

This one do not display daily candles, let see if the problem is coming from here.

Thanks for taking this seriously and keeping on trying, but for me this is the same as the B1 version, in that I can get 4 pairs to display, but with 8 pairs the platform hangs, and Task Manager says that platform is "Not responding" and using 60-70% of CPU.

Sure,

Attached the basic two files you need.
Edit these basic templates for own file locations. You can also extend them to include other files you don't want.

You will need to remove the .txt extension as they are .bat files. The forum almost certainly won't allow a file with a .bat extension to be uploaded and also this makes it easier for you to list the file. When editing use something like Notepad - not a 'word processor'.
To use just make a shortcut to the terminal.bat file which should be in the same directory as your Empty4 terminal.exe file.

This post assumes you are OK with basic Windows batch files.

Best of luck and do post anything you come up with which may help others here.

Just out of curiosity I checked the resources being used on my original dashboard:

and then ran up '! - i-Trade-04-Dashboard-PP-B1.ex4', which does seem to be slightly more efficient code:

As previously noted, you guys do need a meaty machine to run complex indicators.

Same thing here, I had a small loss as well, my results are not complete as I was testing the beta version and I had a late start on Tuesday PM.

Not so bad for a bad week :)

Baby girl should be back home mid week so I'll have a few things to manage to have everything ready for her.

I'll should have some time at the end of the week to add the options to delete multi pending trades and to test other beta version. If PP dashboard is not working for you (Nicolaas and others) I really think it is because you don't have enough resources on your computer. I really try to find solutions but for the moment I don't see.

Yes, agree - my own tests on my VPS show that Empty4 is very resource heavy. Nothing much to do about it except order some more power .... :(

I'll make some tests when I'll have time.

I don't want to say something wrong, I have to confirm this, from what I remember, once PP dashboard is running, it is using less resources than Pipcruiser ea on 28 charts.

Which would mean that the issue could be in the init...
