If you look at the 2 screenshots below taken a short time apart, we can see the Highest HighestCashUpl total is varying without a new High total being reached, which isnt necessarily a problem with the function of the EA as its used for information only.

However a more serious issue I have found is the Current = which as I understand it reflects the TotalCashUpl also seems to not always agree with the actual Sum UPL, which means the basket does not close at the set target. I am assuming the values are not always being reset to 0 when a basket closure occurs but thats just my opinion and as a novice coder could be complete rubbish. I am using V3e.

I am well versed in the chaotic nature of your contributions. CTD is a classic example. Assume it is something you are doing wrong. You will not enjoy my response to being sent to track down, "Desky is not behaving as intended" only to find it was something lunatic that you were doing wrong.

Then consider the utter chaos of your CTD thread - I have pointed this out. And you reckon that I have gotten something wrong?

You may consider reevaluating your approach to me.

Just so you know, I have looked at the coding. It is bog-standard basic stuff. Assume you are doing something wrong.

Hi All
I'm after some help/guidance with the new version of desky. I've removed all previous versions of Tdesk, Desky and TDesksignals from my platform and downloaded/installed the new up to date versions.
Tdesk in the experts folder,Tdesksignals in the include folder. However when I try to compile TDesk trading partner EA I get the following error

" 'TDeskVersion' - undeclared identifier" line 713

line 713 - if(TDeskVersion<MinTDeskVersion)

No doubt its something I've done(or not done as the case my be) I'm still learning the intricacies of the Empty4 platform!

Ok problem solved. After much head scratching, deleting, re downloading etc I thought maybe its the Empty4 platform itself. So a quick unistall/reinstall and hey presto! Desky compiles now ! :yahoo:
I'm actually more happy with the fact that no one gave me a bollocking!

Hi,

I have been a silent lurker in the forum and have been testing various EAs and TDesk is by far the best i have seen anywhere.

I am having a problem whereby the EA opens multiple market orders at the same price level untill i get the Trade Context is busy error after opening the maximun 8 orders Empty4 allows. I have set the MaxOpenTradesAllowed setting to 1 and also set EveryTickMode to False but no change in the problem.

I have also seen that when the multiple trades are sent TDesk prints multiple signals in the trading chart. Since i am using HGI to send the signals to Desky i have set ignoreopencandle to true but still no change.

NB: The screenshot was taken much later but the trades fired immediately there was a signal

I have read through the thread and do not see anyone with the same problem.

i will appreciate if anyone can point me to the right direction.

Nobody will be able to help you having only that screenshot.

Please post complete experts log file, TDesk setfile, Desky setfile. And have a look into TDesks account window. What is the maximum of allowed trades shown there?

Hi,

Thanks for the response tomele, I have attached all the files as requested. The maximum amount of trades shown is 200.

The problem is that Desky is opening market orders at the same price point.

You are loading Desky on every trade chart. You have umpteen instances of Desky running then. Each instance sends the same trades. You are not supposed to do so.
