Steve - the MODE_STOPLEVEL filter will take less work on your part compared to deleting posts of those that don't bother to read the fist post. I haven't looked at the trade logic but it seems the diff here is either the code rejects the trade or the server rejects it, so from that perspective it's probably a wash.
For those of you that think SH has a short fuse, you're right. The fuses has been cut short by a shitty hand that life has recently dealt to Steve. I'm glad he sticks around. Just leave him alone, it's his forum and you're a guest.
Read post 1 a few times, carefully. There is always lots of information there. That's all we ask. This will save you a bashing.
In general on SHF, I've noticed sometimes that posters get hammered because of the lack of quality in their post, maybe not in this thread but other threads for sure.. I've noticed that posters who lack a firm understanding of the English language have difficulty expressing themselves properly and the way they intend. I can see this as plain as day. I'm married to a woman who speaks English but it's not her mother tongue. The other day she called the police to report a person threw a coffee in her car on the highway because the were an aggressive driver. After talking to her for about an hour I figured out that she meant "at" her car, not "in" her car. It's funny how such a small word changes everything. I could go an about this for a while. (Top shelf or first shelf?)
My point is that some posters on SHF don't spend enough time writing their thoughts out clearly. Take the time to write it and proof read it so we can understand what you're talking about. If you're miss-understood you could end up getting flamed, and worse than that your question will not get an answer. |
