In the Desky template, the name of the TDesk Trading Partner ea need to be exactly the same as the TDesk Trading Partner ea. Use notepad to open up the template and find "expert" to locate the EA used. The name should be exactly the same in order for it to work. See attached to see what I mean. There is an extra "r" at the end of the name of the EA. Just delete the extra "r" and save the template. It should works.
I have these same problem. I deleted 'r' and dont work

you could rename the desky as" Trading partner EAR", then all will run normally.please have a try,good luck!

Hi @all. I made this a new thread.

Taipan or Ben, would you please change ExpertNameForTestDatabase to something unique like "XST" or whatever you like and which has no more than 5 characters and then publish the Desky setfile anew?

You might also consider posting everything needed in the 1st or 2nd post ...

my demo did well yesterday, but currently in very deep dd, having basket closed and then opened a fresh set of trades just before jpy pairs turned around. We'll see what happens today

I am a bit confused I am sure there was a dedicated thread for XTrend made by Tomele but cant see it? Anyway good data coming in today to analyse and hopefully improve this setup.

I will go through the setfile now and see what improvements we can make to the high DD. Probably not so important on a big a/c but my aim is always to start with a small a/c.

Some of my GP Demos have hit my Shirt protection this afternoon or it will suffer DD. I will post my results later.

My GP 1K demo hit shirt protection (SL) today but still survived with little DD.

Well, these last trades were opened right at the peaks.

In this case, I would recommend Peaky Buffers with Buffers 4/5 (or 6/7) on H1. Those are only LONG/SHORT in the outer sections and FLAT in the inner sections. Then put PB-1/H1 on the ExcludeFromSoloSignals + ExcludeFromMultiSignals AND on the VetoOnOppositeSIgnals list.

This prevents the basic setup from trading into those very outer sections...
