please find attached gertje's m30 setfile, i really hope he doesnt mind me reposting it here. i understand he has kindly attached an updated h1 file, but this one is also doing great things albeit with a bit of drawdown. check out renexxx post on p29, fairly mirroring my pip gains as well


included are some instructions:

"The 2% is entered as a fixed $-value, calculated with the lotsize in mind;
$1.000 -> 0.01 lot -> $20 TP
$5.000 -> 0.05 lot -> $100 T

Hi Steve,
I have currently experienced wrong reading of Bob H4 trend in version 1m.
When I compared the code with 1g, which shows correct values with the same settings, I found there is a missing line of code in function void ReadAllMaValues() where in 1g you call GetBasics(TradePair[cc]) before calculating the MA and the trend. If you put it back the MA readings are correct again.

Hi Steve, just wanted to tell you it's worth considering tomasbelada's suggestion that changing this line of code fixed a problem I was facing with the new m1 release and that I thought was due to me reinstalling Empty4 during the weekend.

Thanks for the heads-up about the line of code that went awol in 1m guys. Brilliant bloop spotting. I have added it back into 1n in post 1 and it is vital that it be replaced if you are using the moving average.

Make the change yourselves by going to line 1835, which is

and copy this over the top of it

Here is what I surmise happened. My cordless mouse often causes the cursor to jump to where the mouse pointer is. If this causes some text to be highlighted and I do not notice, then the next keypress deleted the highlighted text.

Empty4 is crap all my charts have vanished, back to the start up screen when you download

Art try looking at your profiles, sometimes it defaults to another profile, I had the same thing and found what I was working on under another profile. Just a suggestion.

Sure,

basically i take some details from every trade SB has taken (especially the field pips, min and max) from myfxbook history, and with them i build up a matrix of every possible exit between TP 1-100 and SL 1-100.
Out of this matrix, i filter out the best TP and SL settings (pairwise).
The more trades will be in this thingy, the more accurate the whole thing will be.

Here is a screenshot of this matrix, it has fields filled to the right up to column HI, so no complete picture is possible. But i think you will get the idea.
