Hi c1borg,

your setfile seems works fine in my VPS. But i found a issue during this week's test. closure is often triggered by symbol profit target, not global. it means when daily profit target reached, there still has some open ticket in my account and it will cause some cash lost. My opinion is close all weekly or daily ? or lower the global profit target when reach daily profit target ? any idea ? thanks.

Hi to all.
I test, among other things, also a few Awesome 1d settings.
I noticed that difference treshold settings not working correctly - I think.
I'm trying currently SS Timframe1 15M 4.0 Diff. Tresh.
As you can see on the screenshot, Awesome has confirmation sell condition on SS TF1 though SS is only -1.5.
Is it bug?

C1borg, did you still want this feature? Would it be easier to just double the cash profit target for the day, which is effectively the same as setting back to 0? But you also ask that it would close trading for the day? What is the goal for this request? Do you want the expert to then look for new opportunities, or actually be closed for the day, in which case setting back to 0 is pointless? (Not a rhetorical question, you may be wanting something other than this is all).

You will note all are using version 1c, which is the one Steve Hopwood kindly provided. Many thanks to Isabek for version 1d which allowed me to prove beyond doubt not to use stop losses! Unless that is you quickly want to loose all your money :hi:

Here are the various settings I have used...



Version 1a has the GBPJPY problem but still posts healthy profits each day and has limited DD to around 12% so far. This should mean you can bank money while you wait for the bad pair(s) to recover.

Version 1c seems to be performing well 1.74% per day with pretty low DD :smile:

More news to follow when I have it.....

This can easily be done by enabling a distant stop loss.

IMHO, without some type of damage control, this strategy will eventually fail
