Secret Bob's Basket

EA's inspired by nanningbob's work here, especially those based on his 240 Moving Average trend detection filter.

Isn't it great when a plan comes to fruition? Especially in the train wreck that is Forex trading.

Forgot to say that I closed them out manually. No point in turning your back on over 200 pips when they are going begging.

Version 1p is in post 1, with the fix I promised yesterday. It should now be possible to run multiple instances of SBB as a basket trader and have each instance manage only its own trading so long as you use different magic numbers.

Do not do so on a live account. This will lead to overtrading and a blown account.

You do not need the update if you do not intend to run multiple instances or mix SBB with manual trades.

[Like Spot said, open another Empty4 using the same account login and use the other EA's there.
Your CPU will like it as well./quote]

Thanks for advice - unfortunately the VPS I am using will only let me use one login, Will have to think of another solution.
Listened to all the advice about running multiple eas and now installed the multi trader terminal on the vps and able to run multiple sessions. Thanks - although a confirmed noodle (to use the nice description) do learn from you all

Does the JPY's AtrTP pairs work correctly for anybody ?
Is it OK:

Code: Select all

int CalculateMultiplier(string symbol)
{
   //factor is not working for the JPY pairs, so this is a temporary fix
   if (symbol == "AUDJPY" || symbol == "CADJPY" || symbol == "CHFJPY" || symbol == "EURJPY" || symbol == "GBPJPY" || symbol == "NZDJPY")
      return(100);

   return(1);

}//int CalculateMultiplier()

Can't help you out, beside the fact I couldn't code a single line even if my life depended on it, I use MPTM to add the ATR-TP.

I know you use MPTM.The quated code is SBB's own code. I wonder why does't work.

Cheers Totika
