It says "Strategies not yet calculated" and when I try to Force recalculation, it says not enough data to calculate strategies.

I'm guessing this is either based off previous trade data, which I haven't done any trades yet, or it needs more bars information for the charts.

Manuals get written for the sole purpose of delectating the coders and enabling them to give private manual lectures. Here is yours:
With the default settings unchanged, typically the last 100-200 trades are taken into account and around 1500 different SL/TP settings are simulated over a period of 20 days.

A few days ago I asked about the magic number because I didn't see all the signs on TDesk to which Thomas referred that -1 referred to "all".
Steve says not to touch the digits if we don't know what we're doing, which makes me more curious.
I read the manual again but it only refers to -1, however I would like to learn more, I would like to know what interference the alteration of these numbers has in the performance of Tdesk and desky.
For example Leon uses 46, other configurations appear 0 and still others 2.
Sorry if this information already exists here on the forum, but in reality I didn't find it.

All trades have a 'magic number'. Manual trades have an automatic magic of zero, so this does not show when you hover the mouse over a trade.

All my EA's have the facility for users to send a different magic if they want the EA to know which trades it 'owns'. If Desky, for example, has 20 as its MagicNumber input then it will send this number with the trades it places, and then only manage those trades with a magic of 20.

Coders often use a magic of -1 as an instruction to the software to manage all trades on the platform, regardless of that trade's origin. Rene uses this in his TradeReport indi. Desky does not.

I hope you are all in good health.
I say that in terms of programming I know little, to say nothing.
I do not intend to abuse the excellent contribution of Thomas and Steve, but I think that the suggestion I am going to give could avoid breaking accounts and further improve these two tools that are undoubtedly magical.
I ask here about the possibility of Tdesk / Desky incorporating the functionality or the implementation of indicators that in my opinion would be very interesting although laborious, which would be:
* Account margin history (with the minimum margin reached by the account);
* Calculation of the value of the lots according to the margin history, with maximum supported;
* Number of open trades that we should allow depending on the lot size and the minimum margin reached;
* Alert to adjust the size of the lots;
I found some indicators on a website that more or less demonstrate what I am referring to, although it has more features and does not have those mentioned above:

Greetings all,

I know this information may be out there somewhere but I'm having a hard time searching for the right terms to give me results.

I am looking for indicators or a method to make strategies turn on/off when volume or atr or std dev is above/below its moving average. Or maybe if the slope of something is within a buffer range you do not take any trades. I can source indicators that show this but cant figure out how to setup UBD/USD drones to not take any trades vs. take long or short only.

Am I think about this wrong? If there's a post that discusses this already, please let me know and I'll give it a shot.

Hello EJ,
I was searching for the same thing. Have a look at Ehrenmat's post in "TDesk User Indicators Playground". It is page 24, post number 4. Please let me know if you get it working with the "ATR Volatility Indicator". My thought was to stop trading when volatility gets to high - or only trade when it is high - we should test which way is better.
