I am not an experience coder. I try to mod just like dydynamic says.. 28 trade currency with 28 magic numbers, using in Basket Traveling Stops However, there is a bug. It seems missing closing some trades in a basket. One problem seems to occur when closing a basket and a new trade is open at the same time. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you. |

Hi All, Sorry to have to ask this again but I never got a response nor have i managed to figure it out myself since asking a little over a month ago Can someone please, please, please tell me how to set MPTM to just close partial order once with jumping stop enabled. That is to say close partial lots at the first jump then leave the rest of the position until SL or TP. It currently closes the set amount every jump. There used to be a 'preserve lots' input which was then hardcoded into the EA. But it either doesn't seem to work properly or I'm just too daft to get it to work (mos likely the latter rather than the former). Someone help so I can Thanks :hi: |

To the best of my knowledge and memory, MPTM can only close at every jump, it can't close once and stop like you want. I think your best bet would be to ask Tomasso (milanese) to modify it for you [send him a PM] Cheers |

Whoa, good timing. I was just about to send Lifesys a PM seeing as he made the mods to the partial close blocks. It's a pity it was taken out. Maybe I'll contact Lifesys seeing as he will be most familiar with that block/s (I had a look at it myself but there's way too many layers for my puny brain) Thanks for the response dudest :hi: |

Hi Tommaso, Thanks for the suggestion. The EA looks good. Can't belive I haven't seen it previously. With the partial close, does it just take % close or will it accept lot size too? If it doesn't take lot size, will it find the nearest equivalent without having a fit. That is to say, if I have a lot size of 0.03 and I want to close 0.01 and set PartClosePercent=33 will it close the nearest equivalent (ie 0.01 or 33.33% of the original position). Thanks again, BobbyT |

it uses in this version only %, please ask your question direct in the allPairTradeManagerThread http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =21&t=3482 , as it would be here offtopic.. It will close in your exp 0.01lot. Make sure to read the first post and the important links in this thread to understand the functionality. Cheers Tommaso |

Hi guys, I am in desperate need of your expertise. MPTM is partial closing EURCAD, EURAUD trades just seconds after opening. I have my settings adjusted to partial close trades after 25 pips profit (which is default as I presume). Any idea what's I am doing wrong? Might be it has something to do with setting SL and TP on those pairs??? Set file attached. |

Hello, this is my first ever comment in a forex community. According to the last 2 Posts, it came on my mind that, if you use a 5-digit Broker, you should try 250Pips (which is 25 Pips on a 4-digit Broker)!? Please give a Feedback. Greetings from Cologne, Germany Markus |
