Thank you for your kind words! :good:

I'm willing to contribute by providing a VPS for testing different setfiles on demo or, if proven, on small live accounts. As far as I can see, there is not much risk if you put it on 0.01 lots.

What I have seen so far, the best results are on lower timeframes, maybe I could try MA stack and MA cross on M1.

So if you have some other settings (as long as they make sense), feel free to ask me testing them!


I hope I can help making this system an even more profitable one!

Hi Guys

Just to give you an idea in what I look for in a trade, Gn buy has opened "Mad stochs 15 minutes" now I have no idea where this is going to end up..nevertheles I am looking for an edge, Gn is above my m/pivot at 2.08730 it is an edge...my daily 533 stochs are turning up, it is an edge....we are above the 4 hr 240 lwma, it is an edge...

these are all determining factors in whether we decide how long we will keep a trade,,,and in my opinion Gn has some way to go to the upside...could be wrong however so will keep this trade running :)

how did you get Trade Report Indicator to show filtered comments?
Very simple buddy, you type the first word "Mad" in the comments filter on the trade report and it will select all your mad trades... :)

Stack simply means your fast ma above the slow for a buy and vice versa for a sell...

finally I managed to make it work,but "group By" inputs must be changed as well

Here's the thing Bippo we still need to be cognisant of news events...I had my butt whipped with the Rba rate anouncement this morning and Aussie trades which were looking good turned into breakeven or loss,,,,nevertheless losses have been minimal with mad trader s/losses kicking in..I guess Nfp on friday is another event to be wary of.... :)

Great job and you've really been busy over the week end while I was otherwise engaged. It is tax season here in Canada with yesterday being the deadline.

Yes fresh signals seem to be the way to go and I have gone back to my manual trading as I am currently reluctant to deplore the Trader on a live account until we get a good handle on it. I need to trade and make some good pips to go into fulltime trading as we have the tool :)

And this is part of why I will be trading manually for now as you can see how the beast moved and gave back everything but I took my profit before it reversed on me, and these are all M30 setups entered on the M1 TF. Going for a snooze and will be back later.

George, it is a shame, that you as the instigator of this project, has lost confidence in using it. I had hoped that you would not rest to get it to trade similar to your manual trading.

Hi Rene,

I am still working on it and the M30 setup I posted is still the best I have been able to come up with but I hate drawdowns as I thot trading strength and weakness should prevent that. It has however taken too much of my time and I don't want to wait until the loss of a job b4 I start working on a fall back position. So don't worry, this is a work in progress, and Leon has done a great job assisting us here with all the options he has provided.

So I will be back - trading is a marathon race and not sprint. I tried something new yesterday but it took no trades and it should, so I will watch again today. So Captain, I'm still working behind the scene but it's tough being 8 hours behind London and 3 hours behind New York, and having to trade and still go to work.

The difference between the MADTrader and my manual trading is that the strength/weakness determines the trade but manually, my setup conditions must be met and I wait for MADDY confirmation to trigger the trade. This way I avoid unnecessary drawdown. These setup conditions involve two MTF oscillators (SMI and Didi) and the MAs (which is the only one used by the MADDY). If it works well manually, then I will comeback to you, for alternative filters to HTF MA and CSSDiffLimit. I sent one of the oscillators (Didi) to you at the beginning of the project. It is a very good filter.

I also noticed that trading too many pairs seem to work against me even when I am trading strength against weakness, so I decided to concentrate and trade only one or two pairs to compare the result, and GJ being the number one pick due to its ADR, and it is working.

Anyway, Captain forgive me but I am working behind the scene and if anything works out, you will definitely hear from me.
