Well, I am done for the day. Just over 40 pips for the CHFJPY trade, not much but I am content. The move has stalled and no sign of a breakout yet. You can't win them all ! |

We should all post our trades and our methods, so we can learn from one another and ultimately see which methods have the highest chance of succeeding. I hope to get some feedback on the trades i'm in currently. Method: rad with pending orders Timeframe: D1 Current: Buy CADCHF Buy NZDCHF Sell EURCAD Pending: (all pending orders are near the rad levels from the time rad arrow first appeared. Rad arrows can move around a lot.) Sell stop EURGBP Buy stop GBPCHF Currently all of my orders are in retractment, which means i'm in moderate drawdown. I made the mistake of placing pendings near the key levels (dark red lines). From now on i will place these orders 1 line further to avoid drawdown. I do think all of these orders will go my way after the weekend. However, I must discourage anyone from copying these trades using live accounts. I wouldn't want to risk you money |

With reference to the rad arrows, i wait until after i see them as most of the time it signals a retrace. Once the retrace has taken place then i place a stop order where the original rad arrow occurred that way avoiding large draw down. Andy |

I was bored this evening, bad football game. Cardinals couldnt even move the ball like 10 yards in the 2nd half, anyway, I thought I would play with HGI, what else is new with me. Anyway came up with an experimental 1H version. It will post wavy lines approximately the same places as the 4H but give you more trades back into the trend. USD/JPY 4H looks like this. The blue boxes are the position of the wavy lines on the 4H chart. This is using 15.08 without Hurst, it is set to false. |

Now this is HGI16.00 1H. It is the same as the 15.08 but Hurst is false and the numbers were adapted to the 1H chart. You can see the blue boxes which is the wavy lines on the 4H chart and then I marked the 1H wavy lines pink on the 1H chart. You can see they are very close to the same signal. Then I adapted the arrow entrances to enter off of signals from the 1H chart. So 4H approximates wavy lines posted on the 1H chart and then large arrows entrances to get back into a trend using the 1H chart. Kind of a combo 1H entrance using a the 4H slope as the filter. Took some work but I think I got it to work. You can test this and see if you like it on the 1H chart. Good luck that is all I know. If this works I may try even adjustments for lower TF. Have fun, this version is 16.00 1H designed for use on the 1H chart. It uses the 15.08 update. |
