To all coders-united,
Your help is needed. I have a strategy (based on Renko bricks) I actually trade on a live account.
It works with pretty decent revenues. And with my basic knowledge of coding....I haven’t managed to make an EA out of it.
The input:
EMA 10
EMA30
EMA 60
Rencko bricksize 10
Let’s start with a picture:
 What is the moment of entry for an uptrend?
steady trend, based on EMA10, 30 and 60 are all lined up like the dutch flag
.one brick down (blue) followed by two bricks up (red)
that is your entry point (this is the highest orange line)
stoploss just a full brick below the blue brick (40 pips in a bricksize of 10)
in the picture the lowest orange line
You only take your profit in two occasions:
a predefined takeprofit; I normally use 80 pips or more
the stoploss is always a full brick below the lowest low (so the lowest blue brick)
(this is to me a manual trailing stop)
To me this makes perfect sense, and above all steady pips.
And knowing the brightest minds are on this forum.....the downtrend is the exact opposite.
But as stated I can’t make a working EA. So please help me with this. Ask me all questions and let’s try to make something beautiful.
