Empty4/PC problem

I just recently updated one of my Empty4 platforms. Shortly, thereafter, I started
getting a Run As dialog box asking "Which user account do you want to use to
run this program?, " etc. I am the administrator of the account and there are no
passwords or guest accounts. The message popped up every time I double-clicked
one of my Empty4 platform icons on the desktop. The message did not appear when
I clicked on any of the other program icons.

As a precaution, I ran multiple virus/malware scans and the results came up clean.
I did a system restore to one day prior to the update and all is good, but I'd like
to know how to disable the dialog box, should I have this problem again in the
future.

I had something similar tonight. I just clicked stuff and the problems resolved. Sorry, but didn't keep any notes.

Craperquotes have been playing up a lot lately. All we can do is carry on pointing out which Cowboy was involved and pressurising them to improve.

And before anyone points out that the Cowboys are limited by their licence with Crapperquotes, I remind everyone that he who pays the piper calls the tune. When Crapperquotes misbehave, it is with the cooperation of the Cowboys.

Needless to say, none of this rubbish has affected my GP accounts.

I am getting the same problem. Please post solution, if you got one. Think it has to do with the 500 update.

Update: This worked in my case. My platforms were not updated to 500 because the liveupdate exe file was removed (forgot to replace them as I was busy fixing issues on my vps!). Once file is installed (or there already), uncheck the restricted box, allow the platform to open and update to 500. Next time you open it, the box will be gone.
