High download on Empty4 start

For the last few weeks every time I open Empty4 it immeadiately downloads 10 to 15 mb of data.

This makes trading difficult trading from a ship at sea and paying per MB.

This is a new problem. Obviously I asked my broker who were obviously no use....

Broker Alpari. Build 646.

I have reduced the bars back and disabled news. Is it updating the markets and company tabs in market watch?

It makes no difference if I open Empty4 after 1 day or 1 minute, the initial high download is the same.


Any help would be appreciated.

cause perhaps you use an old instlation and it's need to add any important update to process. latest Empty4 build are e 765, you may want to reinstall your Empty4 from new instalation file from your brokers website. have a check with your privilige, is it prevent to modifying any files within which cause a failure update and resulted to an auto update each time you run the exe.
