I did it many times in the past. It was a waste of time. I concluded it was a waste of time so long ago that I have not even kept the code that makes it possible. It is not difficult code and I am sure you can find it somewhere. Google it.

Best though, if you do not waste your time.

FFCal relies upon the ridiculously unreliable feed from Forex Factory. FF is run by cretins. Rely on their information if you really want, but your ultimate destination is the conclusion I came to several years ago.

You can take my word for it now and save yourself thousands of hours of heartache, or you can endure thousands of hours of heartache in an attempt to prove me wrong. Your choice. I do not care what choice you make. (holy crap, but I sound like others addressing me nearly a decade ago - I wonder why?)

And before you ask, no I have no knowledge of a better system of news gathering into an EA.

Now, ask yourself this: Steve has been coding this stuff for nearly a decade; he doesn't bother with coding news events into his EA's; why not?

You will have learned quite a lot about both how the Forex markets respond to news events and coding once you have worked it out.

I will give you a clue that nobody gave me nearly a decade ago. Forget FFCal; look at the spread.
