Pips away from visual ts

Can someone please explain what this means and give an example of how its used and why. Thank you

If that refers to what i think, it should correspond to a hidden trailing stop (TS). If in your settings you have chosen, for ex., 10 pips TS, and activated hidden TS : then, if I'm not mistaken, the bot will keep in its memory the real SL at x pips from the visual one. Meaning what you see on your chart and terminal isn't the reality, because the bot will only take into account the offset value you've defined to close the trade (in case of reversal).
It's used to show a fake SL to the criminal, in case he'd try to chase your SL ..

I have asked this question elsewhere but never received a proper answer...what is a "criminal" all i got in response was its a saying Hopwood coined.
I think I get it, its the broker you are dealing with, and the fact that they can bump you out of trades???
If I am correct in my assumption should i have any concerns with Alp@r! US?

"Criminal" is defined roughly in the retail FX world as - brokers that are a counter-party to your trade employing various techniques to profit from your trade at your expense -

When your broker is your counter-party they can profit from you in various ways depending where in the execution process they wish to intervene. In the Empty4 platform brokers had a software component in their backoffice suite that allow them to take advantage of their unique status of being a broker AND a counter-party to their client. That is akin to a casino not only knowing what cards you have in your hand but telling you what cards you are going to get without really showing you those cards. You will lose for sure with the casino patting you on the arm telling you your luck will change soon. Never does...

In response to this on the Empty4 platform coders decided to not passed on their S/L and T/P info but to keep it on the client side so brokers would not see your complete strategy. This helped to avoid brokers knowing where to sweep up their client open positions.

Hehe... I don't blame you for being confused. As I have gathered Steve(forum owner) does not like most |B r o k e r s| so he has that word replaced with "Criminals" automatically including in posts that have already been written... Hence the confusion if you just started to read this subject...

Hehe. And just so everyone knows, Fate12 is Erwin. Erwin's company's server hosts this forum. It is Erwin who accommodated my request that all bastard crims should have the B word replaced by 'criminal'. And yes, I am introducing some deliberate confusion here just for laughs; work out what the'B' word reality means for yourselves.

Ok, so just a bit of fun, but anyone who thinks the bastard criminals are anything other than total crooks are being naive. We 'retail traders' do not merely have the markets to fight. We also have our individual bastard broker against us.
