I think I get it, its the broker you are dealing with, and the fact that they can bump you out of trades???

When your broker is your counter-party they can profit from you in various ways depending where in the execution process they wish to intervene. In the Empty4 platform brokers had a software component in their backoffice suite that allow them to take advantage of their unique status of being a broker AND a counter-party to their client. That is akin to a casino not only knowing what cards you have in your hand but telling you what cards you are going to get without really showing you those cards. You will lose for sure with the casino patting you on the arm telling you your luck will change soon.
Never does...In response to this on the Empty4 platform coders decided to not passed on their S/L and T/P info but to keep it on the client side so brokers would not see your complete strategy. This helped to avoid brokers knowing where to sweep up their client open positions.
