Very simple indicator/alert

Does anyone know of an indicator that will simply count the number of consecutive long or short candles and send an alert when the desired number of consecutive candles is reached? Something like this should be very simple to create, and I am sure someone somewhere has already done so. However, I have not had any success in finding it.
