Utility to produce report from Statement.htm

Is there a utility around to produce a report from statement.htm or produce a better statement.htm.

A utility that ignores cancelled trades and produces totals for magic numbers, comments, currency etc and works on a date range.

I found ProAnalyzer here but when I loaded it into Excel it said it had lost it's VBA project.

I tried exporting stuff to excel and others before and it was just a pain in the ass.

You should be able to log into your account on your broker's back office and create reports that are good for Excel, Libre Office or OpenOffice. A little bit of tinkering here and there and you can build a nice report form with all the bells, whistles and charts you could hope for in life.

However, the much more elaborate and simple way of doing this would be to setup a private MyFXBook or FXBlue account which analyzes your trade info for free and allows you to export in html, xls, csv etc.

Here, I've written a small tool which takes a Statement.htm and exports the trade information of non-cancelled trades into an Excel file.

If anyone is interested in this, we can use this as a starting point and let the program do some analysis of the trades.

Carsten. This sounds very handy. I've tried running it but get the message "StatementToExcel has stopped working".

I'm using Windows 10 and I ran the .NET Framework Setup Verification Utility that confirmed that .NET 4.5 is working fine.
