My experience on Empty4 trades analysis tools - pls share yours

Hello all,

After a few years of trading probably everyone has accumulated a long list of trades in their account and platform of choice, and often this could be used as an insight into which periods one's trades performed well and not, which trading pairs worked and which generally didn't for your strategy.

Recently I've started looking at the trading log from my Empty4 and realised that the default information the platform provides is rather limited.

As a result I am looking for online tools for analysing Empty4 logs, showing the basics such as equity and balance curve, trade summaries by pairs, and drawdowns etc, as well as analysis (MAE etc, or anything that provides an intuitive insight into one's trades).

I have so far tried two:

1. Forex Factory: the tool on this site can be setup by providing the Empty4 account number and investor password. The data is retrieved directly from the server, and it provides some decent graphs and trade summary
2. myfxbook: has a good standard set of analytics, the only downside is that it pulls the data from the Empty4 terminal, so the PC has to be running for the data to be updated. There might be an option to use VPS, but I haven't tried that myself. Additionally it seems to focus on the balance in favour of equity, which could be a bit misleading.
