Constantly Logged off for Forum

I am hoping that someone has had a similar issue with the Forum constantly logging you off, and has figured out a way to correct it. I sent a PM to Steve this past Sunday (see below), it appears that this is on my end.

So, with that in mind, I went into debug mode, to see if there was something I was doing that would cause this. The only thing that came up during the past few days is that when I view an image. I would more times than not be logged out. The other thing I noticed is that there seems to be a lag in the server response at times. So perhaps being in the U.S. is the reason. Yes, that probably means those damn Colonist are up to no good again!

Anyway if you have had this issue and know of a workaround to fix it. I would greatly appreciate your help. I lost count today how many times I was logged off, just reading BALUDA'S SUPER CSS-2.0. THE SIMPLEST TRADING SYSTEM EVER, Geko's SuperSlope Cross Dashboard and Slopey Candle Bob

I have asked our tech wizard. He has no idea why you are booted off. It does not happen to most of the rest of us, so it is a problem at your end. There is nothing we can do about that.

Good luck sorting it out. You can always start a thread about it in the Lounge; somebody might have found a solution to a similar problem.

I really don't want to enter the extra security question every time. I really could use some help to resolve this issue. I thought this was just an extra level of security on the forums end, so I did not say anything and just lived with it.

My reply to the OP was not quite correct, so I apologise for this. What he actually said, in so many words, was this: many internet settings do not allow access to SHF; sometimes they are too slow to allow access; sometimes they allow access, but not for long enough to allow downloading.

Not sure if this should be attributed to the user's internet connection. I am also getting logged off intermittently (and particularly, when I'm posting something). I enjoy a 100Mbps internet connection (speedtest.net rarely reports a speed below the 97Mbps) and I have no disconnect problems with other websites. Can this have something to do with CloudFlare (the DDoS protection layer)? I guess this one is for Tommaso?

It is a known Cloudflare issue that happens with some connections, I myself faced never this issue, but there is nothing we can do, as we need this protection thanks to some trolls.
What you can try is to disable all caching on your browser and browser acceleration, as this will cause a higher rate of logging you out fast. Then you must check the box Log me on automatically each visit. Never use a VPN or similar service, as those will cause problems.

Your fix seems to have worked for my browser as well. I have noticed that the image-opening ---> to ---> log-off-sequence has not happened on the last few tries also. Previously, it was happening regularly.
