Scoob's Forex Robot - Newb Question

Hi there,

Been following FF for a while and jumped over here as well...

Can I ask a daft question please? I've searched and read the threads about Scoob's FR, but is there somewhere that tells me how to get it running in the first place please?

I just get ' Cannot open file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Empty4 - Alpari UK\experts\Forex Robot-v6.24.ex4' on the EURGBP,M5' when I drop it on a chart.

Hi Ath,
i think this is the prob, look further up in DC's release thread where you'll see some other files that need to be placed in the library folder ;

v 6.20_r trades using LibOrderReliable4 which is available here

add these, recompile and restart Empty4, this should do the trick. do this each time you update FR and all should be shweeet!

if you've done this process, then i'm not sure what the prob is, maybe it would be better to use one of the more 'active' pairs like the GBPJPY for the ticks as Scoobs had mentioned.

If you are running windows 7, I've heard there can be permission problems opening files from within the program files folder.

Try installing your Empty4 in a different location eg. c:\Empty4
