• You are 100% responsible for doing your due diligence and research on each and every one of these brokers. Some of them might be more criminal than others.
• Some may not have the leverage you want, or the offered leverages may be too high. Or the spread is too high. Or the commissions are too high. Or they are an STP/ECN broker. You get the picture.
• For those of you trading instruments other than currency pairs (cryptocurrencies, stocks, commodities, metals, indices), some brokers may or may not have the assets you are looking for.
• A fair amount of them accept numerous non-crypto methods of deposit and withdrawal, although cryptocurrency funding seems to be the direction many well-known and newer brokers are headed. Decide for yourself if that's a burden worth dealing with.
• Almost all of them are offshore. Again, up to you if you want to trade with them.
• ForexPeaceArmy is your best bet for finding untampered 3rd-party reviews. Use other forums and review sites like TrustPilot with caution.

Yes there are many brokers that if you ask them on live chat if they accept U.S residents they are instructed to say no. However in reality once you sign up you will be approved and able to trade with no problems. The hard part is finding these brokers that will give you this abilility to do this. Not at all surprised that Evolve Markets told you that they do not accapt U.S. I no longer ever ask live chat on any broker if they accept U.S....most of the time I will get an answer I don't want to hear. Rather I look at the bottom of the brokers site and see if U.S is mentioned as being restricted....if it is not specifically mentioned we may have a chance in and worth trying from my experience. Anyway back to Evolve Markets.... once you turn on your VPN for any other country of choice you will be under Tier 1....they have a Tier 2 KYC that I have never done since I am sure It would be declined. It allows for higher deposits and withdraws. I have been happily trading with them for many years and they are one of my favorite brokers. I also have a friend trading with them in the U.S as well.

Yes currently all prop firms out there allow U.S residents including the prop firms that use brokers that normally would not accept us for private account. Some prop firms payout up to 90% of your profit made. To me it is well worth giving them a cut for the ability to have endless options now ....not to mention not needing to risk so much of my own capital. For example I can trade say a 100k account which only cost me between $400-600 depending on the prop firm. I also purchased recently a 250k account to trade with as well with oustanding trading conditions.

Also wanted to mention I have used Crypto Rocket for many years however technically they no longer accepts U.S residents like they used to. They will allow trading with them just fine as long as VPN is used during sign up for new clients. I also still trade with Tradersway and FX Choice since I had old accounts with them previouly close to 10 years old now before they stopped accepting U.S clients. They will allow this ability to trade with them as long as accounts were created prior to the banning. I tend to open up accounts with brokers I don't even intend to trade with to lock myself into the system incase in the future I have fewer options.

• Using prop firms to indirectly trade with brokers that normally restrict access to Canadian and American traders. The one firm I have particular interest in is BuoyTrade as their primary broker is Global Prime. I sent out a private message to Jemook for his opinion regarding BuoyTrade and prop firms in general.
• Opening up accounts with all of the brokers who currently accept American traders in the event where new US clients will no longer be accepted in the near future. This is a smart idea I can get behind. It's like a form of insurance to protect yourself from losing access to potentially good brokers
• Registering an offshore LLC for $2000-3000 and then trading through said LLC with the brokers that don't allow Canadians/Americans to trade with them. While I know nothing about offshore matters or even the costs and paperwork needed to maintain an LLC offshore, this does sound like a plausible idea. Perhaps for someone who's extremely desperate to trade with a select broker and will jump through hoops to acquire the perfect trading conditions.
