Peak HiLo indicator non-TDesk

Post by pree876 »

Hi Steve.. is it possible to add a few more lines to this indicator..

3 more trading lines that work the same way as the first one.. where I can make adjustments and change the colors of each line

and 1 more close a-proximity line that works the same way as the first where I can make adjustments and can change the colors..

and at the end of each line make the price visual..

or to make life easier just add 4 more close a-proximity lines and let each one as its own percentoftradingareaproximity that i can make adjustments to each line using % #

With the utmost respect... absolutely no offence is intended...

There is a well-founded convention in this forum, whereby if one would like others to modify EAs or indis, they should:

1. Demonstrate that the requested modifications have some actual worth, or;
2. Make a highly persuasive case that there is potential worth in the modifications.

Even so, the request needs to be very clearly described. Even a sketch can be valuable. After all, the modifier deserves to have a clear understanding of what they're devoting their free time and effort for. The members of this forum aren't just free labour to be taken advantage of.

On reading the request, it is very light on the above. So I guess your best courses of action are to review the request and add detail, or to have a go at the modifications yourself, trial-and-error, like so many of us do. All the best.

Peak HiLo indicator non-TDesk

I have been testing this indicator for over a year now.. and I have used different combinations to work out where I have a high probability without much DD by using Fibonacci to work out some key areas that allow me to bank 50 up to 500 pips within the cycle before price turn around and head in the next direction.

And I have 4 templates that I use these combinations on. I need to combine all this in the one indicator that's why I need 4 more close a-proximity lines that I can adjust by the % #

Let me give you a perfect example.. the screenshot below ia USD-JPY

from the Peak Lo.. Look at the first 3 lines, from the middle line to the blue line above no DD till it reach. that is about 300+ pips then back down to the first line that's another 300+ pips then from that line to the fourth line that's 290+ pips.. this banks me over 990+ pips and the cycle is not yet finished..

All you have demostraded is somehow these modifications work for you, not why they would be worth changing. Your post reads I, I, I... At the end, you maybe a vague attempt at explaining how it helps you.
Also your numbers sound fabricated, if you had the potential to make that many pips, you wouldn't be asking for free coding.
Cheer,

:youknow:

@opita if you want to know what I'm doing you could ask and I will surely give you the information so that you could go try it out yourself, I'm not an expert nor I am the brightest in this forum, I have been trading for a short period of 3+ years but one thing I have learned in here that you can't just get up and post if you don't have anything to say.

Let me give you the setup..

I use 4 indicators to help guide me.

1; 240 simple moving average on 4hrs
2: 3 Level on the 1hr all the way up to the monthly
3: Peak Hilo set to 35 chart divisor and 1682 noofbarsonchart 1hr trading time frame
4: Peak Fibonacci: settings

-0.027 exit
1.027 exit

0.014 enter
0.985 enter

0.050 Level 20
0.950 Level 95

0.166 Tp
0.253 Tp

0.736 Tp
0.832 Tp

0.568 Middle Tp
0.42 Middle Tp

For this to work you will need to draw the fib from the top of the Peak High to Low

How do I know when to enter a trade?
Price as to move above my level 20 or below my level 95, once this happens I will put a pending order at peak Low or high trade line and the second one at fib enter line, and the last one at the Peak Low Or High line

all have the same exit

My take profit goes like this.. peak Low or high trade line goes to the first tp then fib enter line goes to the second tp an Peak Low or High goes to middle tp

Thats my simple guide

Just remember to trade positive swap and not all your pending orders will get filled if price move to the opposite middle tp you can delete all pending orders that never gets filled
