Fractals Trade Systems

Hi All,

I have not found an in-depth discussion on the Fractals based Indicator, but I could be wrong.

It's consist of 5 bars/candles; fractal arrow appears at the 5th bar when the 3rd bar is the highest/lowest than the other 4 bars (2 bars in the left and 2 bars in the right).
However, the arrow would re-paint if the closing of the 5th bar is lower/higher than the 3rd bar.

Fractal arrows consists of 2 signals:
1. When a Bottom Fractal appears: open Buy -- Top Fractal: open Sell
2. It also as Break-Out Signal: At Bottom Fractal value: Sell, Top Fractal value: Buy
Pairs: XXXJPY - TF: Daily

How it works: when Fractal attached to Chart it will have Top and Bottom arrow. The Last Top and Bottom are Pending Orders, EA would wait for NEW Signal to enter trade.
Trade is closed and replaced by New Trade upon new signal or hit Pending Orders.

I have coded the EA, and would like to improve it. Any opinions? thanks

You might be aware of the vast discussions around Bill Williams`s Profitunity Trading Sytem. Major part of it is use of fractals with a twist. Especially he would take buy fractals only if they are above an average, sells only if the fractal is positioned below the average. Actually he is using a set of MAs he named ALLIGATOR. I am aware with the setup Fractals + Alligator. I'm only using Fractals for my setup.
