Forum losing the last-read timestamp?

Is anybody else having problems with the "last read" bookmarks?

This forum has always been very good about keeping track of what you've read, remembering it on a thread-by-thread basis. In the last few days I've had many cases of "show me the next unread post" links taking me to the first post in a months-old thread, or sometimes dumping me somewhere in the middle. Is something wonky with the forum, or did I break something somehow?
