Hanover REcent Strength In its Esscence can do for Entry What MPTM has done for Management.

#Currently Testing the FChaman Weekly Break out on weekly & Daily T/F with Much manual Intervention
For the daily, when applied dduring 05:00 to Close oF London, shows promise.. Jsut have to manually remove pending orders and reload them daily to take new sessions. Slight mod made to the Weekly Break out so tat for the daily, it places pending referenced from the opening of the current candle rather than the High & Lows, that seems more applicable to the original Weekly intent of the EA.

#Hanover Recent Strengthe With Slope Detection only has shown Promise on T/F M15 to D1, particularllly when placed on a chart for Each T/F an operated during the London Session Only.

These are My Three favourites testing all on demo and Live as I tweak

I am on the 8-5 PM so I have not much time to try the miriad of Flavours in the Hopwood candy Store. Going on the Weekly or daily T/F helps me make Steady inflows with less oscillations in Account balance. I do Most of the of the Management Manually as, The weekly Break out EA (Fchaman) was not initially composed for D1. It none the less greatly assit with entries.

On your results, I say as long as it is profitable that is our Goal. Could you do a print/Screeshot of the trades as seen in your Empty4.0 history tab? that will lassit more in appreciation of the trade results.

Hi Forexpippy,

Out of curiosity, what main capabilities do you use in your version of the beast ?
for ex.:
- Hedge ?
- White Box ?
- Any breakeven set up ?

Just wonder because I've also used the beast on multiple pairs but I finally had to let it on 1 or 2 pairs (ranging ones) only because of the DD (if 2 or 3 trades are in a big recovery at the same time, you're close to a margin call, eventough I did set up with micro lots). I just recovered from the JPY intervention and didn't put it back on the charts yet.

I've been trading a version of The Beast on a demo account since May (I've also been trading it live, but had to remove it to utilise funds elsewhere).

I haven't intervened, save for increasing the lot size every $1,500 of additional equity.

I've almost tripled the account..........

I am looking into opeing an FXbook as well. The tolls there allows for excelllent means of analysing with a view to improving trade performance.
What has your expeience been like on it? Do you have only demo accounts there or do you have live as well.

Any comparison with the ForexFactories Trade explorer? Any Conerns on security of data etc. :

It's actually "The Beast" that I'm using on the linked account, not pippo

Yes, all of my trading is done from a VPS and i'm based in the UK so I can hedge.

Myfxbook is pretty good, but don't believe other people's statistics too much, it can be manipulated (difficult, but certainly not impossible). I wouldn't like to speculate about security, i've no idea!

my name oversight. and to think Pippo may be the name of another of Sir Hopwoods coding pals.

Just an Idea I am toying with as well.
(1) Set up the original Hanover EA etc, just to the version where we got the clope ceck.
For each of te nine T/F offered set up one instance of the hanover RS EA on it, so we would have
one Chart hosting the Recent Strent Indicator and Build Strength Script, then the other chosen T/F, for now I favour m15 to MN. For each of the Instance I change the Magic number o you can have multiple entries triggered from different T/F. The lost sizes would be 0.01 to 0.05, and the real strong pairs would have multiple entries, as a result. That I would allow to run during the the 02:00 (10:00 pm Eastern) to London Close, 12:00 Non Eastern.

Then could tweak the SL settings 50-100 pip SL 100-200 pips TP or use MPTM to manage as basket. Shows some decent results, just need to avoid the sleepy trading period. Have read (here) and if you (all other members included ) have a mind to set up (all done on a single Empty4 instance). In the coming week I may just use that on demo and set up a trade explore or Fxbook for it.

Again thanks fr sharing the Stats on your Beast account. Whatever is said, any consistency over six months is woth taking noe of.

Of couse one must have an account with the service then follow the directions. Be sure to change your Empty4 pass word under tools, Option, Server->change and change your investor password. for connection to the service. This is just in cae you use a service like ALpari that does not initially send you yhr investor P/W.

As we discussed in our pm's, myFxbook do not make this process easy. In fact, they make it so stupidly difficult I sometimes wonder if the do actually want people to use myFxbook.

Just so you know, and this is not any kind of criticism of you whatsoever, I have clicked the links in your post and they do not lead me anywhere helpful.

Maybe someone has a 'link to myFxbook' pdf or somesuch they can post?

I've played with them a bit in the past. From what I've seen you have two choices, using Empty4's built-in publisher feature to send ftp updates to them or using an EA they provide. Apparently you get more functionality with the later.

I believe both methods rely on what you have in your history view in the terminal.

I suspect someone using one of the widgets already can explain how they are using it and share any tips.
