droland sent me this a few weeks ago. I meant to post this back then but time moved on and I forgot. I was doing a ruthless prune of my inbox a few minutes ago and it resurfaced.

My son sent me this link. It might be worth looking at as an adjunct to your mql programming evolution. I like the concept. If you don't have the time, it might be worth directing some of your experienced C++ guys to the site to get their input.

Guys, I am not a C++ programmer. My (limited) understanding is that Crapql4 is based on C++. Is there anything of interest here?

Interesting. That would let you use C++ (a pretty robust and capable language) instead of our old favorite MQL. It might also make it possible to write all kinds of GUI whizbangs and fancy stuff using OS features. Oh, and you think the ScITE editor is a cool IDE? You ain't seen nothin' yet.

Is it worth it? Dunno. A lot depends on how it's implemented and how solid it is. Could be interesting though!

this is not only for C++ Developers...you can use any of the .Net Languages (C#, F#, VB, C++,... ) to Develop EA's, Testers and Tools... this is really a great project.

The only minor drawback is that he doesn't released the source for all of his components...

There are a couple of other Libraries/APIs available that do the same but none of them are free to use and cost money.

Hope that this Project goes forward...need to get the new visual studio installed ...

Don't know what's riding you to give such a comment...

I'm not publishing Code on a Open Source Platform like the author of the API.

I give Sources to people I know and respect...and when they ask for it.
I just don't publish sources on a public forum where the possibility is given that People can steal and resell my developments.

If you do so...that is your decision...I appreciate your work here as much as anybody else.

I also participate on the code that is shared here and give my developments and enhancements away for free...so I don't see what your Problem is.
