Are you running this OOTB?

Can someone explain how the take profit and BE stuff works in this bot? Does 1.0 mean 1% of my account balance? and like BE being 4.0 means 4% of balance?

The settings you asket:
Use_SetBEAndJumpset this to true if you want to use the function
BEProfitPips added to OpenPrice for BE
JumpStepPipis the SL will be moved with every trail step
SLMinDistanceToPricethis distance must the moved SL have to the actual price

But note the original strategy uses no moving SL, if you want to play with different settings as OOTB probably this value MinProfitForClose would be interessant, see too fist post and maybe read again too the PDF

im running this bot on global prime demo, multiple pairs ootb on weekly charts. a lot of the trades which were opened on the opening of the week quickly hit SL and battered the balance of the account, but would have gone on to become great trades. has anybody else have this issue?

Hi,

you can play with the VolaMultiplicatorForSL OOTB it is set like the original strategy wanted it, but that can be in very volatil opening in weeks, that are much more volatil than the week before (EA uses always last closed week for calculations) cause that trades run senseless in SL.

Hi Tommaso. Do you think it would be worthwhile to add trading hours functionality to try and avoid those crazy spikes during the first hour on Monday morning?

the EA has a spread filter inside for avoiding this, and uses hidden pendings..., maybe best would be the EA set 4-5 hours after the monday opening, but naturally you can theoreticaly miss some good trade by doing this..

had a nice first week with this EA, about 20% with 0.05lot on a 2000€ account, but there was one problem the EA failed to set SL on two pairs (error 130) although my broker does not have a minimum distance for stoploss.

if that happens, you should try to use on that pair a higher value as the OOTB 0.1 for VolaMultiplicatorForSL

EA updated 23 jan,2015
Some fixes, now the SL will be set correct after restoring orders, if the EA is new initialized. Ordersend function with more security features, error 130 will now never occur as there are many checks if a sl/tp is valid and if not it will be autocorrected. New feature MaxProfitForClose (in account currency) if the profit is higher the EA will not autoclose in the week after the order is opened, but the sl will be moved with the profit. Note the OOTB is new it reflects my setting how I use the EA.
