Nice one dude!

Looks like Fox is hunting it high, then hunting it low --> trapping volume!

Also common for him to do that when sessions are changing

PS: like the font on your background :), reminds me of good times infront of a Linux terminal :)

Cheers!
Thanks Dudest

Hey Dudest how do u handle DD , I got margin called the other day on Aud/Cad that huge spike :(

How much money would u need in to do say 0.1 lots

P.s

Is this an Abc pattern on U/cad

Hey sean!, long time, good to see you back :)

Made a change to my lot sizing some months ago. You may have noticed my stacked trades nowadays are in the 0.10 - 0.33 range [ huge cut from when I'd stack 1 - 5 lot trades on the SAME size of a/c ]

For the AUDCAD trade, only two positions were on when the 80 pips stop-hunt spike happened: 0.33 + 0.17
Very roughly: total of 0.5 for 80 pips ~ less than $400 in DD

For today's rough ride however, I had too many positions running (IMO) [ CJ definitely wouldn't approve :/ ] Good thing was though it was several positions per trade going the wrong way, the lots were small. Total 50% DD. Had to cut it, was obvious I was wrong. If I had good positions running that lessened the DD, would still have closed out everything and wiped the slate clean, then re-assess.

50% seems like a lot to cut. But the key for me is: winning hugely when I'm right. And pulling out a chunk of the profits from the a/c (every so often). Keeps me from being reckless and also means I can re-capitalize if disaster happens.

PS: I see the USDCAD same as you! I know I'm sounding insane, but it's plays like this and USDNOK and USDSEK, etc that are making me think USD is going to go up strong, soon

Cheers

Hi
I can't trade like Dudest or Dagu with that kind of stacking.
Best for me is stack 5-10 trades. Most of times 10-20 pips between trades.
Everyone have to find his own way :)

True dat.

Think the only trade I'll take and hold right now is the EURSEK (http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 56#p120756)

It set up nicely while I was typing the previous post!
Added Silver shorts to the mix

Yes Dudest, I swear I saw the M on 15 min. lol, next time I wait when M or W show up on the higher time frame, what was I thinking, I am not CJ or Dudest.
Lesson learned. :?

Hi E,

I'm not worthy to be listed in the same line as CJ! Gimme a few years! (maybe 7!) :)

The 'M' was there, just didn't go far

After getting burned quite a few times predicting where a '3' should be, I nowadays wait till either an 'M' or 'W' forms on H4 or higher, OR till a stop-hunt happens

All the best in the next trade!

Cheers

Interesting picture formed:

A positive Non-Farm Payroll reading could trigger it to 1.24 area. Definitely on watchlist.

Cheers :hi:

Have just gone short at upper TV boundary which is also 61.8 rtrc of latest swing.
Prepared for it to go past 73.6, will find a couple of grateful sell limits there if it does
