I've been looking at Amazon's free VPS for 12 months but the bandwidth is limited to 15GB a month.

Does anybody know how much bandwidth gets used by running Empty4 24/7 for a month?

After comparing the VPS services of a few companies I decided to go with Database Mart. I started with their $9.99 a month service but found it not enough so upgraded to their $18.99 a month service. I'm running three instances of Empty4. One of the instances has 21 instances of HGI running. The other two don't have much going on.

A tip for all of you using a vps: leave your platforms minimised to cut down cpu use dramatically. Load Task Manager and view the difference between when your platform is minimised and when not. The difference will be down to the amount of cpu not used updating the screen.

You should find that you can run more platforms on you vps.

Minimizing the chart windows inside before minimizing Empty4 itself seems to help decrease the CPU usage as well.
