I had a plain Jane set file laying around that was most basic (I had labeled Steve’s Settings) and loaded it onto SPB 1W and it immediately started behaving. That “Basket cash take profit” that I mentioned stopped changing on me, so this shows I have been somewhat of a dimwit and somehow shot myself in the foot. I’ll have to compare the two batches of settings side-by-side and see if I can figure out where I had it wrong, but for now anyway, the basic set file worked.
I am still having problems with the dollop settings and may as well discuss it now.
SPB 1W, starting with basic settings
Equity = USD 7,000
Lot Size = .04
UseDynamicCashTP = True
CashTakeProfitPerLot = 5,000.00
UseBasketTrailingStopPercentage = True
BasketTrailingStopGapValuePercent = 1.8

So far, so good.
However, when I changed to using Dollops I got something odd.

UseBasketTrailingStopPercentage = True

Lot Size = 0.10 (should still be 0.04)
Basket cash take profit = 500.00
Any entry in LotsPerDollopOfCash produces a lot size of 0.10, regardless of what is in the plain Lots field. Also, it’s curious that “Basket cash take profit” changed with the use of the dollop setting.
It’s incredible that you programmers can keep all this straight.
